Screentest 2007 was proud to welcome delegate visitors from all over the UK, ranging all the way from the creme de la creme of student film makers through to die-hard film fans!
This series are photographs taken while discovering this magnificent south east of NSW. After living in the ACT for 5 years I moved to the Snowy Monaro Region in January 2019.
I have experienced the Snowy Monaro district before, when I was younger and living in Jindabyne. I feel blessed to be exploring it again now, in much more depth, with a completely different eye. This landscape has seeped into my being. There is something truly magic about the light in this region, let alone the colours.
There are so many areas of natural beauty, it's certainly worth a visit!
The reason they are linked to my pinch river profile is because they will inevitably feed into my work at some stage in some way or another, but for now can just be enjoyed as images of the area that captured my attention and inspired my creativity. My 'work' can be any number of projects I'm working on and these images feed into a project I recently started called Snowy Monaro Places - Autumn Trail of Discovery.

Tenth Assembly - Winnipeg July 21 - July 31st 2003.
Last-minute rush to replace delegates absent from the Assembly because they were denied visas to enter Canada. This measure is unprecedented in the history of LWF assemblies.

I mostly got shots of the men... i'm shy around women but they also look like filipinos except for one very slim and fair-skinned delegate (who, i might add, had a kick-ass tattoo snaking over her back... she was wearing a racerback tank top).
