This series are photographs taken while discovering this magnificent south east of NSW. After living in the ACT for 5 years I moved to the Snowy Monaro Region in January 2019.
I have experienced the Snowy Monaro district before, when I was younger and living in Jindabyne. I feel blessed to be exploring it again now, in much more depth, with a completely different eye. This landscape has seeped into my being. There is something truly magic about the light in this region, let alone the colours.
There are so many areas of natural beauty, it's certainly worth a visit!
The reason they are linked to my pinch river profile is because they will inevitably feed into my work at some stage in some way or another, but for now can just be enjoyed as images of the area that captured my attention and inspired my creativity. My 'work' can be any number of projects I'm working on and these images feed into a project I recently started called Snowy Monaro Places - Autumn Trail of Discovery.

I went to the Democratic caucus the other day, and walked out as a delegate to the Grays Harbor County democratic convention, committed to Hillary Clinton. And Caitlin ended up as an alternate. You can't imagine how proud I was of Caitlin for going and taking part in this rather archaic ritual with me. She wasn't the youngest person in the room, but she was certainly one of them.
