Many of life's lessons are learnt from experience and deep thinking. At Gyanoday Multan Nagar Vatika, activities like 'peeling the onion' were conducted to help the children understand the various aspects of human behavior and emotions. Is this lichen or moss? It's on the same trunk as the lichen and the bracket fungus.

This stump has been here for awhile - a top view shows how it is decomposing. You can see a bit of this in the middle left hand side. What else do you see growing on the side of the stump?

Trout lilies were very abundant in the oaky part of the woods!

This is a relatively fresh stump - if I remember correctly, this was an ill-fated ash tree.
