You’re in my dreams, that’s why I sleep all the time ✨☁️

I love when someone's words are so powerful it makes me analyze my whole being.

It took me a few days to write this one. I knew what I wanted to say but it didn't want to come out right ;). I probably should've just put something simple like I love when someone makes me think. But i am talking about more than just "thinking" here. Analyzing my whole existence...

Why do you waste your time on people who will never change?

Why are you friends with people you really don't like?

Why do you let people get you down that don't mean anything to you?

Why do you stay at a job you really hate?

Why are you angry at something that happened years ago?

Why spend your life fighting things that you CAN'T change?

Learn how to cope....

Learn to forgive....

Learn to hope....

Learn to love...

Learn to dream...

This is YOUR life.

The only one you get.

Make good use of it.

Art of futility STOP

It stabilises.

That’s why art continues after belief has died.

Not because it promises something—

But because consciousness cannot stop itself.

The will to create isn’t heroic.

It’s involuntary.

A reflex.

Blurry maple seedlings. Obviously, it was after I took these photos that I figured out the best way to use the macro setting on the camera...

The art of monetising fear

Politicians have long mastered the art of monetising fear, transforming societal anxieties into powerful tools for garnering votes, donations, and loyalty. By amplifying threats, whether real or exaggerated, they create a sense of urgency that compels the public to rally behind them, funding campaigns and endorsing policies that promise protection. This strategy not only secures their power but also perpetuates a cycle where fear becomes a lucrative commodity, much like how alarmist narratives drive engagement and profits in broader discourse.

So why don't more contemporary artists leverage or expose this political platform, given that power and art have always been symbiotic?
