Did a stint as a docent this morning at the Kingsburg Historical Park. The young lady with the bow and the other with the cornrows, often walked hand in hand. Clearly kindred spirits. The girl behind them was one of the more attentive students.
Hello everybody. Today I want to show you my creation for the Lord of the Rings micro-scale collab from the LotrLug (www.instagram.com/lotrlug/). The task for my part was to build a Helms Deep MOC on a 32x16 base. Due to the fact that this castle is one of my favorite places in the LotR movies, it was really an interesting challenge to recreate that place on such a small base.
The design of the Tower is a bit inspired by Simon Hundsbichler (www.flickr.com/photos/138986803@N03).

I've been going through my photo folders from 2016 and reprocessing a lot of my early HDR images. In the "early days" of processing, I, like a lot of HDR "newbies" I understand, used to push the programs sliders a bit too much, enthralled with the color and detail, but not realizing I was really making a mess of the whole process.

Deep Bay Marina is a well-known harbour situated on the east coast of Vancouver Island in the Lighthouse Country region, north of Qualicum Beach, British Columbia, Canada. It is a sheltered port popular with boaters exploring the Strait of Georgia, the Gulf Islands, and Desolation Sound.
The marina provides essential services, including protected moorage (both transient and permanent), power, water, and washroom facilities. It is also notable for its proximity to the Deep Bay Marine Field Station (a Vancouver Island University marine research station) and to rich salmon fishing grounds, making the area a hub for fishing and marine education.
Besides the obvious sexual innuendo, there are a ton of things in life we need to start going "deeper" in!
Let's go DEEPER in ourselves, DEEPER in our passions and live this life to the fullest!

21 yrs ago I installed the carsonite post trails markers and label for all the foot trails in the Yankee Springs Recreation Area. I was surprised to see so may in such good shape.
