A small lake formed by the melting ice from the surrounding mountains. This is located approximately at an altitude of 13,000 ft. Location: En route Leh from Manali, on the foot of the Baralacha La mountain pass.
Taken while walking with A friend in the Humber Bay Park West this-afternoon when we finally get some sunshine.

The morning I met Deepak Chopra I had come down from my room at The Little Nell in search of the breakfast bar, I also received total enlightenment which was pretty nice too.
This is a tiny lake at a height of approximately 12300 feet some 50 kms. from Keylong on the Manali-Leh highway in Himachal Pradesh.It looked like a beautiful blue sapphire.
Deepak Taal (el. 3,750 m) is a small lake, about 50 kms from Keylong along with Leh- Manali highway (NH-21).

Every friday, the worshippers make these deepaks (lamps) by lemons and perform puja archana. The whole temple glows by the the light of these deepaks which looks wonderful. Try to visit the temple on friday for a mystical experience!!
