Disclaimer - I have no idea how to use this or how complete it is, but it looks at least partially used.

Oh look, it's another Donate day: two sweaters I never wear added to the donate pile. (Also shown - the tank tops used to start the new donate pile yesterday.)

This is how we will look in January!

This is the time to declutter and clean.

I am “filtering” my closets and drawers, documents, books, ornaments, etc. ...and placing in boxes all those things that I don´t want in my house anymore.

I don´t understand why I accumulate so much junk!

“One day I might use it!!!”...I guess that´s the trap.

I am also getting rid of some ornaments. Not that they are bad or ugly, but they are getting “old” (for me, at least). The good part is that I am already planning on what crafts I am going to make to replace some of them (that will be the fun part!).

Every time Lent rolls around, I renew my attempts to simplify and declutter. Today, I started to tackle the old snapshots that I kept in those horrible self-adhesive albums that we used in the 1970s before we knew the damage they caused. Here is my life from 1972-1976.

Quick project to build a second hanging bookshelf for my office, which will allow me to declutter considerably.

I need to declutter the magnets and refill + label my spices

Any day can be “Earth Day”, not only April 20th. #Declutter your home, save the environment, and spread joy all at the same time! Many organizations don’t accept #Legos, but BrickRecycler.com started a great program to accept your many pounds of Lego brand toys, and put them back to use. BrickRecycler.com can even pay for postage.

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

just begging to be cleaned out...having a pantry this narrow and deep is a recipe for having stuff you never see and never use.

I decluttered the porch. :)

I forgot to take an intentional PAD image. So this picture that I took of the bags of clothing that I donated to a charity for their free clothing giveaway will have to do for today's PAD. It feels good to declutter and allow someone else to enjoy the clothing.

No wonder that I could not navigate by compass, it was totally covered by all this stuff on my deck! But there was no more room anywhere in my boat. I need a declutter system:)

I needed my thermos to drink, my camaras, the gun (in the yellow drybag), satellite phone, the GPS is visible in the back, some food, some cloths to add especially on my head. the Leeboard on the right-hand side was sometimes in my way. Most of the time I had to paddle and could not sail. Very often I hit the crossbars with my paddle. It was very difficult to control the boat without the rudder.

No matter how much I declutter there are some things I can never part with. Mrs Ted (original name, I know) is 60 years old so I thought she deserved a photoshoot.

To declutter 2008, I'll get rid of 10 things a day for ten days. I started with my computer. A few more than 10 but it's way overdue.

In an attempt to declutter the living room I started unpacking the clothes.

Meanwhile hard core kitchen cabinets installing going on.

I posted my first ever eBay sales today! In an attempt to declutter and make money for travelling I'm trying to sell a load of my stuff. It's only little bits at the moment but it all adds up! One man's trash is another's treasure and all that.

David made me this screen door with petsafe screen. Finally I can get some much needed air circulation in my studio.

He even made a little latch and handle for me.

category 16: books!

this one's title can be translated into: " you could be ruining your own life" (and become a total failure) - unless you declutter and get rid of unread books for good! Think: bookcrossing!

Cleaning out the junk drawer. Only a little more to go.

After getting new counter tops we are not putting anything back in the drawers or cupboards until we clean and declutter. It's about time!

It's empty now and now to decide what to put back in that drawer - not junk. We found a smaller drawer to handle what was "necessary".

I decided to declutter the photo studio and let go of equipment I’m not using regularly:

3 x Alien Bees b1600, 640ws AC powered lights, flash and modeling light. Excellent condition.

3 x 15 foot extension cords, like new.

2 x travel soft boxes with dedicated Alien Bees connectors, excellent condition.

1 x AB speed ring for any other brand soft box. like new.

4 x Pocket Wizard Plus II, good, used, some wear-n-tear that does not effect function.

4 x PW Plus II Hildozine Caddy (connects to the PW, then connects to light stand), like new.

3 x PC mini connector cables for PW to AB. excellent condition.

2 x Alien Bees replacement lamps, new. backup for the flash bulb.

2 x Beauty Dish, one white other is silver. not pictured, used, works. bonus!

1 x Gossen light meter, used, accurate, battery door is uncooperative.

1 x trunk to keep everything together (but not for travel). used.

I did travel with the kit (in a different, sturdier trunk) to Mexico once. Everything came home unscathed and has been used since then, primarily at local (indoor) events or my home studio. Only thing not included in the kit is light stands (because that’s photographer’s choice), and a backdrop stand (I have an extra one if you’re interested). Fwiw, the modeling lights are bright enough to be used for video recording, if you’re into that kind of thing.

If you are interested, make me an offer I can’t refuse.

30 Day "D" Challenge Day 6 - Today's official goal was digging out and donating 2 random kitchen bits I've literally never used: a microwave bacon/egg maker, and a plastic "Taco tray" which is basically a round dish with a bunch of compartments for organizing small toppings. They both went in the donate pile, and in the process I also picked up a cabinet organizer and made a better place for my cutting boards and largest baking sheet.

A typography project that I'll be completing tomorrow...

Gordon got a bit sticky in my boy's bed room!!

FlyLady said A LOAD A DAY KEEPS THE PILES AWAY! So i've been washing every day when there is a load.

I think When I declutter the bedrooms some more then I may find something else to go in the washer with Gordon.

(ok so it is 'keeps the chaos away' but I like my verision much better.)

We cleaned out our kitchen cabinets and got them organized this weekend. So well put together! This is the Mexican and Italian shelves.

been going through the STUFF in our house.

decided it was time to declutter... AGAIN.

these books are on their way to HalfPriceBooks where I will try to be strong and just take the cash offered.... but will probably be weak and take the store credit in order to bring home MORE books.
