Interior of the Salvatorkirche (Church of the Savior), a Greek Orthodox church with a slightly convoluted history:
Built in late Gothic style in 1493 as a cemetery church for the relocated cemetery of the Frauenkirche.
With the secularization in 1803 it should be destroyed, but it was used as important storage, so destruction was avoided.
In 1806 it was gifted to the Lutheran community in Munich, but due to continued usage as depot the Lutheran community could not use it. With the decision to build the Lutheran St. Matthäus church in 1825 the Lutherans returned St. Salvator to the crown.
In 1828 King Ludwig I of Bavaria gave it to the Greek Orthodox community for use, but the church building remained property of the state.
After this it remained Greek Orthodox and was renovated multiple times, most recently some interior refurbishing happened in 2022.

An eagle can live up to 70 years, but to reach this age the eagle must make some hard and difficult decisions.
Jaspyr climbed up onto the roof of one of the old byres…Here, he is trying to work out how to get back down. Safely.
Years ago, when he was just a kitten, this big eejit found himself on the very apex of one of the byre roofs. He proceeded to slide straight down, with his front feet splayed, like snowploughing skis, in a foiled attempt to halt his downward plummet. He (and I) got a real fright. Fortunately, he was perfectly fine, if a little shaken and hiding under my bed. Very rare to see him on any of the roofs…

A pair of Mallard Ducks wander in a nearby forest under the forever watchful eye of Orion.
Orion was solid to 'point' for about 10 minutes without moving a muscle as I maneuvered around to get the shot. Not unusual, as that's just the way he is...
City landscape of Nizhny Novgorod.
Kanavinsky Bridge is the oldest permanent crossing over the Oka and Grebnevsky Canal in Nizhny Novgorod. It is located at 1.2 km of the river, next to the Strelka - the confluence of the Oka and Volga. It connects two parts of the city - Nagornaya and Zarechnaya. Initially it was called Pakhomovsky, then after a short time it became Oksky, and after the opening of the second Molitovsky bridge in 1965, it was renamed Kanavinsky - after the name of the district.
Until the beginning of the 19th century. the townspeople traveled to the Kanavino area and back by ferry and boats, and in winter they crossed over the ice. The urgent need for a crossing between the two banks of the Oka was ripe after the fair was moved to the other side - to the Zarechnaya part of Nizhny Novgorod, to Strelka. From mid-July to early September, the Gostiny Dvor was visited by more than 150 thousand people, while the city's population was no more than 18 thousand inhabitants. The decision to build a permanent crossing was made in 1920, but work began only 10 years later. The bridge was built in Nizhny Novgorod in 1.5 years from 1932 to 1933, but the official time frame is 5 years. The Kanavinsky Bridge has an arched structure: the load is distributed between six arches, over which transport and pedestrian traffic is carried out. The massive pillars are made of metal concrete, the road surface is made of asphalt concrete. The Kanavinsky Bridge is 795.5 m long and 23.6 m wide.
The arch bridge survived two German bombings and escaped serious damage thanks to the use of a smoke screen. In the post-war years, the coating and structures were repaired several times, but without blocking traffic.
So, I was watching this video on You Tube and the guy said he didn't put his images in Lightroom by there date because he can't remember which photos he took when. So he puts them in categories, like architecture or people. Made sense to me. I was taught to do dates but categories works so much better. I spent a couple of days redoing my Lightroom. The only time it'll be a problem is when I add photos.
(Godafoss )

Yesterday I took my old camera and old lens to wander around in the rain. The maple trees that were here grow tall and too close to the house. But for now we won’t have to make a decision.
Shooting in RAW allows for a lot of mistakes. Mostly, however, this is about as shot.

Autumn Mists - Times Of Uncertainty by Daniel Arrhakis (2021)
With the music : Wordclock - It May Come by Cryo Chamber
__________________________________________________
Meanwhile in Asghardia at the top of a staircase in a richly ornamented stonework a figure with a long embroidered mantle looked at the landscape with autumnal tones that vanished through a dispersed fog.
His thoughts roamed the horizon through the mists of uncertainty that surround his beloved Kingdom Of Krudhyn.
Old rumors and old superstitions increased in a thick cloak of uncertainty and conspiracies among the Old Orders, there had always been rivalries but never as much as now.
The choice of the Guardian Master Of The Black Order for Cardinal of the Kingdom was not a consensual decision within Aghort, the general council of the orders, but the influence that the Cardinal exercised as the former Khanton (*) of the kingdom had weight with King Ehomyhr, although defended the independence of the state in relation to those of the old orders.
It was this recent condescension that intrigued her even more - Her husband had always defended the separation of powers! -She thought aloud while watching the autumn tones that painted the landscape around the Old Winter Palace.
Not far away, on a parapet with a privileged view, there was a curious black crow that seemed to observe all the movements that the Queen Elyandhyn made.
She had already seen him, but pretended that she hadn't noticed, since she was a child, she had no sympathy for those animals with piercing eyes and black feathers with metallic blue reflections. But what was strange is that lately it was not the first time that she had seen crows in the old palace although they were rare - I have new secret admirers, she thought as she smiled.
(*) Khanton is the equivalent of King's Counselor in other monarchies.

A creative mysterious Gothic composition using two photos of mine taken some time ago in Regaleira Palace in Sintra, Portugal.
Our friendly garden robin came and took his food then spied a tastier morsel!
Thanks for viewing, favs and comments, much appreciated ❤️
There are not too many compositions normally available at Trebarwith, so when a surfer stopped to weigh up the conditions it gave a nice photo opportunity for me and my photo buddies.
Which to feed? The bushtit hoard descended late yesterday afternoon, and had plenty of youngsters in it (were they there to show off their newest members?). Here, I was lucky to get mom with two hungry "teens" vying for her attention. Which did she feed? Neither - shortly after this she flew away and left them wondering "where did she go?" Too funny!
Thanks so much to everyone who takes the time to view, like or comment on my photos!
