Abandoned power plant for a former paper factory

 

The last part of the power plant in this stream shows the old boiler house, which contains two water pipe radiant boilers by Steinmüller, built in 1936 and 1950, with travelling grate firing for hard coal - operating pressure 25 atü. I hope, my English is correct ;-)

Rone - Time Exhibition. Flinders Street Station. The Arbor setting inside the grand Ballroom at the station. So beautifully done indeed and very attractive to all the people viewing the exhibition. Windows within windows! HWW

Decaying Old leaf.

This bus was left to rot somewhere in the middle of nowhere in the woods.. Pretty weird to see this..

Back in the 1930's,radios like this decaying beauty were the TV sets of the era. News,weather, sports, and entertainment were broadcast over a limited bandwidth and kept people informed and entertained. Direct feedback and "likes" were a little slow but anyone that could afford one of these weren't complaining....

Looks like a DIY remodel ...still in progress from the 70's.

Had fun capturing this - hope nothing attached itself to me while taking it.

 

This is the side entrance to an old church in Toronto in a state of decay. However, with the lush vegetation surrounding it, the two elements meld perfectly together.

Made this photograph in an abandoned gynecologic practice several years ago.. saw this room instant in love.. :)

a small Camellia flower bud at the very end of its life. Brown and shrivelled but still intact.
