Sable Levee golden eyes look over at the male as just smirks. Yes Sable does not remember him but then after the last few days she is more parinoid then ususal. Staying where she is for the moment just calls out " vial". Having not noticed River approaching yet
River Grau nearly stepped past until he saw Sable. He turns, staring at her for a minute. "Damn. She let you go, huh?" He looks over to Alex and nods, "Yo."
Alexandr Giano: He doesn't miss who else happenss to be on the street, as he takes care, yes? He reaches into the inside jacket and in the dark, something flashes back the thin vein of light that doesn't quite reach him. He palms it immediately as green eyes skate towards River. It would be a few moments before he recognizes who it is. He tosses him a little chin raise as his attention slides back to Sable. The air seemed to be growing thick, filling with weeds. How many steps forward might she take? How badly did she want it?
Sable Levee golden eyes having been fixated on the male slender frame posed as if she might either jump at him or take off running at the least wrong move. Startles as River approaches behind her to whip head to his direction. " where is ya blonde cunt of an friend?.." Sable totally pissed at her as for an moment sees red. Eyes narrowing to slits before looking back at the other males direction. The vial of drugs seeming to call at her as emotions are all over the place at the moment. Moving as if trying to keep both of them in her line of vision edges closer toward Alex
River Grau has bandages around his head, from the back of his scalp to his brow. He smirks slightly as he steps to wall and peers around it to see what Alex could be holding. He doesn't recognize it but could see Sable's desire or it. "More of an acquaintance than a friend. That was fuckin' hillarious though. Following someone around just or some drugs when they obviously hate yah. What did you /expect/?"
Alexandr Giano picks up the mention of blond hair, but his face doesn't betray this. As it is, it would be hard to see his expression clearly. His posture remains eerily relaxed, though when she draws closer, a loud snap of metal comes. His right hand rests against the wall. River's words couldn't be more sarcastic as the puppet strings splay and tug at Sable. "Ah ah," he pushes out when she draws to the edge of the bench, "credits, let's see those first."
Sable Levee snorts in River's direction as continues to look at the male who holds the vial of drugs.. Words drift over left shoulder as replies to Rivers sarcastic comments." ya who da fuck cares as mostly everyone hates me for one reason or another.." not bothered by that fact as she has long ago accepted what she is. Made an junkie and whore by men Sable is easily controlled by drugs. Posed still in an skittish way just reaches to pocket for some credits she had stole from the till.
Alexandr Giano: The skittishness confirms what he suspects. That vial remains palmed, out of view. He flecks his tongue as his attention drifts one moment to the street, perhaps catching sight of someone else he knows. "Fifty," he cocks to Sable and a cat smile paws across his face. It is far more than what the going would be, but he chooses to roll the dice against her need this time.
River Grau 's light blue eyes flick from Sable to Alex curiously. He takes small steps behind the redhaired woman. He'd block her way if or when she did turn around. "No one cares. That's the point. But if I can make yah feel a little more like the shit yah are, we can kinda say that brings a little purpose to my day." His attention was mostly on Sable so he wasn't really looking at Alex.
Sable Levee does not argue or protest the amount as she just really needs that fix, everything will be better when them drugs calm her mind and body. Hearing River behind her as he moves to crowd she begins to get even more jumpy which in her mood is an dangerious thing. Almost ready to turn and shove him out of the way so she can make an run for it. Sable doesn't though as she really needs those drugs. The credits tossed on the bench near whee Alx is standing. She waits impatiently for the drugs. All but refraining from climbing the wall in frustration." theres ya crdits now give me the drugs.."
Alexandr Giano waits to see how Sable responds to the worded threat River makes. He'd like nothing better to see Sable's forehead meet the topmost railing, perhaps thrown over into the sludge below, but in this moment she's someone who could reap benefits. The credits clatter onto the bench. His left hand gestures with an open finger to beckon. "Pick," he intones, "Them. Up."
River Grau takes a few steps even closer to invade Sable's personal space just to make her uncomfortable. His breath possibly felt on the back of her neck as his eyes flick from her to Alex. He doesn't physically interfer though, one of the reasons is so he doesn't mess with the other young man's deal. "You really like those drugs, hmm?" Ideas spring up in his head.
Sable Levee golden eyes narrowing as looks from one to the other before centering on Alex. Seeing his motion for her to pick up the credits Sable would just stand there before reaching to snatch up the paper money. Small left hand extends as holds them out toward him then. " here.." sorta grunted as nerves shot just wants the fucking drugs. Ignoring Rivers little comment for the moment even as she does shiver toward the flush of breath along nape of neck
[10:40] Alexandr Giano's eyes flash amused between the two as he watches her need war with growing sense of danger River imposes. He notices the leather collar around Sable's neck at this time. When she presents the fistful of credits, absinthe eyes stay loose on her hands to make certain she doesn't pull anything. The vial is exchanged smoothly enough. It had been his last. "See you," he murmurs as the money is immediately pocketed, "think my... friend," he uses the word casual, "wants some of his, time with you."

"I have control of a history untold
It begins with the father of sin
I walk alone in the garden of stone
I turn into the monster within
Life is too long for me
Life is too long for me,
I realize
That I miss being human ...."
Thought this dio deserved a proper picture now that I've got photoshop.
Also, I've deleted some of my pictures because I thought they were too old and I have room to make better things.
New York Architecture Images- 72 Greene Street.
Originally a warehouse belonging to the dry goods dealer Gardner Colby Company, this impressive structure was known as the "King of Greene Street."Its ornate, three-dimensional facade is considered the finest example of the French Renaissance and Second Empire style in the entire district.
Although composed of two separate buildings, the structure is united by a projecting bay that forms a portico at the ground and rises to a pediment at the roof.At each floor, variegated freestanding columns support the protruding cornices of a central porch. Additional classically-inspired ornamental details are 4incorporated into the facade.A cartouche bearing the owner's initials is a tribute to Gardner's self-made financial success.
The building at 72 Greene Street, long known as the "King of Greene to Street",is looking more regal these days in its fresh coat of ivory paint.Architect Isaac F. Duckworth designed it in 1872.
Described as the most complex three-dimensional structure in SoHo,the building is five stories high and 10 bays wide.Rising from the sidewalk to the roof, the two center bays project forward slightly and are defined by free–standing sturdy columns enriched with fluted bases and composite capitals, In contrast, the side bays have austere flat pilasters. At the roof, the center bay has a protruding pediment supported by heavy brackets. The two doorways are unified by an imposing portico under a broken pediment with an urn.
"The King"was built for Gardner Colby to house his enormously successful dry goods business. He endowed the college that bears his name in his hometown of Waterville, Maine.
Like many other SoHo structures, this building endured hard times during the Great Depression of the 1930s.It suffered from a lack of maintenance and was marred by broken windows and rust. Two fire escapes were added to the facade because of city regulations.
For the last fourteen years, the M-13 Gallery, which sells contemporary paintings, has occupied the entire second floor. Alice's Antiques, specializing in ornate cast iron beds, has occupied the south portion of the ground floor for five years and Bennis Fabrics the north section.
Jefferson is a small town in northeast Texas. The "antique" dealer could give junkyards a bad name :). This appears to be the remnants of a Vespa scooter.
Ich bin die nächsten 8 Wochen mal weg. Ich kann deswegen mir nicht eure Bilder anschauen. Bis bald ... Thomas
This is the first in a series of Warhammer-inspired builds that I am working on. The 40K universe is yet another area of Science fiction that I have an interest in. These builds are not meant to be authentic to the mythos or details of 40K, but rather take inspiration and some design aspects from that imagery.
Daniël Mijtens (Delft, c. 1590 – The Hague, 1647/48), known in England as Daniel Mytens the Elder, was a Dutch portrait painter who spent the central years of his career working in England. He was born in Delft into a family of artists and trained in The Hague, possibly in the studio of Van Mierevelt. No known work survives from his first Dutch period.[1]
By 1618, he had moved to London where his initial patron was the leading art collector Thomas Howard, 21st Earl of Arundel. Mijtens painted the Earl and his Countess, and was soon commissioned to paint King James I and his son Charles, Prince of Wales. In 1625 he became painter to Charles I.
After the prince's accession to the throne as Charles I in 1625 Mijtens produced such a large number of full length portraits of Charles I and his courtiers, including duplicates, that it is assumed that he had workshop assistance. Two of his finest portraits are of the same man, James Hamilton later 1st Duke of Hamilton, whom he painted as a seventeen year old in 1623 and again in 1629. Mijtens made visits to the Netherlands in 1626 and 1630, perhaps to study the latest developments in his field, more particularly the works of Rubens and Van Dyck.
Mijtens introduced a new naturalism into the English court portrait, but after the arrival in England of the far more distinguished Anthony Van Dyck in 1632 he was superseded as the leading court portraitist, and around 1634 he appears to have returned to the Netherlands permanently. He subsequently worked primarily as an art dealer in The Hague, acquiring works for the Earl of Arundel among others. Only four paintings survive from this final period.
Some of Mijtens' works are still owned by the Royal Family.
