I made this a while ago, but didnt get the chance to post until now. and with the movie out this weekend, it felt like a good time
The 'New World Wedgies' came together to raise money for fighting Neurofibromatosis (NF for short) and to raise awareness.
These folks take part in a 'Superhero school' at New World Comics in OKC. Superhero school is a Saturday event held at the comic store where young kids can meet and learn from superheroes. (a great cosplay event for volunteers)
During their fundraising they came to find that the owner of the store happens to have a niece who lives with NF (the disorder which this charity run benefits), so they all found an added reason to run.
Somewhere in one of his many underground bunkers, Slade Wilson prepared. Wilson was the kinda guy who would do anything for the right amount of money. He had just been hired to kill Deadpool, an idiotic mercenary with no care for anything. The problem was that Deadpool had a healing factor. He could not be killed.
Slade had done his fair share of research in Deadpool. His real name was Wade Wilson, he was apart of the Weapon X program which gave him his healing factor but also gave him an odd skin disease. But Slade was always prepared for any situation.
Slade Wilson is a master of every weapon in history and also owned them all. No matter what Deadpool threw at him, Slade would know the perfect offensive move to use against him. After he trained, he pulled a knife out of its sheath and without looking, threw it at a picture of his target. The knife landed perfectly in the chest of the picture. "Look out Wade, The Terminator's coming."

So, this figure has been sitting on my desk for a while now, and i thought i uploaded this, cause i think this figure is pretty awesome!
The head is modified with clay to look like a mask, the belt Deadpool logo is made of clay, and so is also the pockets on the belt and of course the abs are made of clay.

My X-Men heyday was during the 90s, when Cable was leading X-Force and getting framed for shooting Xavier with a technovirus (spoiler alert). Still, there's something about this more modern pairing that appeals to me, even with very little exposure to it.
Besides, Lego had already made Deadpool...

This is based on the Deadpool videogame trailer (watch it if you haven't yet and if you aren't under 13). Looks like Deadpool is about as excited for it as I am. But seriously, what's up with the lack of a decent Avengers game?! Here's to hoping we'll get a Lego Avengers game soon!
