From the archives, a reject from a recent attack on my sister's china cabinet.
The bokeh circles of confusion appear to be spinning, and so reminded me of this amusingly cheesy 80's song.
And you thought I abandoned bokeh in favor of rusty/crusty.

Dead or Alive - You Spin Me Round
Almost forgot about this one I got while over in Ocean Shores. Never tried one like this before, I kinda dig it :)
So i just started working like a week a go, and i have no time to screenshoting and stuff. I still have a lot of images on cue to be uploaded but yeah... it will be slow. Maybe 1 a week or so.
One phone call is all that is needed to send your heavy equipment to heaven ;)
Btw, love that nissan/datsun bakkie. I'm squished like a sardine in it but enjoy driving it, reliable and fast which I guess is the reason for so many of them on the road still these days...I want one for myself ^_^

Lecture and demonstration in a surgical suite at Lankenau. Was the body on the table alive or a corpse at the time of the painting?
Driving along I stumbled upon this tree, struck by lightning it looked surreal with the lush green growth around its trunk but still retaining the dead upper part. The contrast between the living and dead looked stunning.
This picture is for the group Macro Monday's and this week the theme is "Circles".
My husband asked me "WHY didn't you put it on another color of paper??!!" I said that I did but the other picture didn't come out very clear. So... sorry to make you look at this "putrid" color. It's kinda grown on me!
I'm not really sure what this thing is. I found it in my kitchen drawer. I know it goes to a counter-top appliance.... I just don't know which one!
I decided to title it "You Spin Me Round" since I always hear that song on the radio. Since I couldn't remember who sang it I had to google it. Made me laugh watching that video on YouTube!! Artist/Bands were pretty goofy back then... or high.... one or the other. :0

This unique beach is famous for the salt-washed skeletons of live oak and cedar trees that once grew near the shore.
