Custom 4" Deadpool. this is a commissioned piece. He started as a Cpt. Rogers 4" figure, with sculpted head and some details. Painted in Citadel acrylics.

The client is unable to wrap up the project from his end, so Deadpool will be making his way to ebay.

Now I wonder what he's raising his eyebrow at . . .

Always good to see him

Reupload from my old accounts, before the Flickr redesign. Comments, views and favorites lost. Taken at New York Comic Con/Anime Fest 2010.

Hello, R2... I'm D-POL...

After I decided to departure from the last weekend's Comic Con Convention, my friend and I cought a glips of Deadpool.

Or at least, cosplayer who is cosplaying as Deadpool.

It was kind of exciting to see. The chibi mascot adds a bit more charm to the cosplayer. :3

Yesterday i was at the Elf Fantasy Fair in Haarzuide, Holland. There were a lot of awesome costumes and other things there and i'll upload some.

NOTE: I am not in these pics! I do not own the character(s) it is based on or the costume. I just thought they were so damn cool i had to upload them. Contact me if you are in these pics and don't agree with me uploading them, and i'll remove it.

Alright let's help you guys set this desktop up shall we?

Required Items

-Geektool

-Circle Volume Indicator

-iTunes Geeklet v2.0

-Adium (If you use messengers I highly recommend this though it's not required)

-Quicksilver (Not required though a very useful tool, recommend for making lists)

Step 1) Download and install Geektool (of course)

itunes.apple.com/us/app/geektool/id456877552?mt=12

Step 2) Download and install iTunesGeeklet (I'm using the Circle Bar Style and removed the artwork)

www.macosxtips.co.uk/geeklets/music/itunesgeeklet-/

Step 3) Download and install Circle Volume Indicator

Step 4) Download and install Quicksilver

download.cnet.com/Quicksilver/3000-2344_4-10281138.html

Step 4.5) This is optional if you enjoy Adium

adium.im/

Along with Adium I'm using these Xtras to get the desired look

www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=7822

adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=2010

www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=4999

Step 5) Opacity boxes

When you organize everything to the left I simply placed a shell file and set it in the background and boosted the opacity up to 60%

While the darker areas seen around the time and other areas is the opacity bumped up to 35%

Step 6a) Quicksilver + Lists

This I've found to be very useful to keep track of work or something I want to do later. Simply follow this tutorial and you'll have a nice

to do list and can easily edit them using Quicksilver.

www.viddler.com/v/ca8485a1

Step 6b) Now if you do download Quicksilver and found you enjoy it I've created a few nice Applescripts that will allow you to toggle iTunes

shuffle option using hotkeys.

Step 1) Create two new applescripts using the Applescript Editor

Step 2) Copy and paste this code into the first one and save it as Shuffle On

tell application "iTunes"

set shuffle of current playlist to true

end tell

tell application "Quicksilver"

show notification "Shuffle On"

end tell

Step 3) Next copy this code and paste it into the other blank script and save it as Shuffle Off

tell application "iTunes"

set shuffle of current playlist to false

end tell

tell application "Quicksilver"

show notification "Shuffle Off"

end tell

Step 4) Next go into Quicksilver and go to Triggers (Command + ')

Choose Custom Trigger and click the + sign down below, choose Hotkey from the drop down menu

In the search type in Shuffle Off

Next edit the Hot Key and set it to whatever you like. Though be careful not to setup well known hotkeys (I made the mistake of doing Command + S)

Now simply repeat Step 4 for the Shuffle On feature as well.

Step 5) Go into your iTunes and create a New Playlist

Step 6) Highlight all of your songs in your library and drag them into the new playlist.

NOTE: STEP 5 and 6 ARE REQUIRED. Otherwise the script and hot keys will not work.

Now if you're seeing issues with say something not updating such as time, song tracks, your list you need to remember to set the refresh time to

something other then ZERO. As a suggestion I wouldn't set the date at a very low time (mine's set to refresh every 400 seconds) as for the rest of the items I prefer seeing faster results so I set these to lower numbers (Usually 1 to 2 seconds) Though this may show faster results remember that this can take a toll on your CPU if you have a large amount of items refreshing at a very fast rate.

Step 7) Last but not least I provide the Wallpaper I created. Setup is self explanatory I hope.

If you guys have any questions, comments, concerns, or complaints about this feel free to email me and I'll do the best I can to resolve any issues you may have. I hope you guys enjoy this setup as much as I do.

I own a Lego Deadpool, I'm not sure at what point in my life I ever thought there was the slimmest possibility that this would ever happen, let alone it would be an official product. :D
