Everybody's favorite Merc-with-a-plastic-mouth!!!!
head is an Ignika skull painted with spraypaint as a base and acrylics for the eyes
the arm joints and torso are custom designs to allow more realistic movement
his normal load-out includes: dual pistols and katana blades and the teleportation rig from the early comics
he is also pictured with my HALO Battle Rifle and HALO Assault Rifle
Ryan Reynolds is Wade Wilson, later to be known as Deadpool, a highly-efficient killing machine whose weapons of choice are katana swords.
deadpool- well if it isn't the friendly neighborhood spider-man! what's the deal spidey? your original costume looked like a cheap knock off of my old suit and now you're taking over my super violent merc business?
hell-spider- im not spider-man.
deadpool- could have fooled me with the whole wall crawling web slinging theme. although your toys look like way more fun. by the way that's my victim you are harassing. if I dont cut his head off then I look silly carrying these things around on my back.
hell-spider- you're too late. this one is mine. why dont you go fluff howard the duck?
deadpool- oh, those are fighting words!
That is one crap-ton of Deadpools. Yikes!
And yes, the middle one is doing a hand-stand (with some help from his fellow cosplayers).
I built these for a feature in issue 20 of Blocks magazine. They were a lot of fun to work on, and posed some interesting challenges, particularly Mystique.
Deadpool fan art. I thought it was so great to have his pinkies up but everyone who's looked at it thinks they ruin the whole picture. Deadpool is property of Marvel Comics.
Please excuse the mercenary language with one mouth, but our anticipation of the minifigure is great. : D The pre-order is out and I'm looking forward to September. I wish you a nice weekend! :)
A husband and wife cosplay team Deadpool Domino.
I de-saturated the background color and blurred it a tiny bit to make Domino and Deadpool more prominent.
Full disclosure: In looking at the couple's business card, the Domino cosplayer portrays her as quite pale (which matches the comic book source) but she was very tan in this photograph (end of summer, Dragon Con is hot enough to melt off body paint during the day). I used a B&W gradient map to partial tone down the tanned skin in favor of a paler pallor (heh, alliteration) but still be a realistic skin-tone.
Deadpool merchandise at Spencer's, a novelty store, similiar to Hit Topic but with way more risque content ... like numerous marijuana themed pieces of attire, sexy lingerie, and dildos ... for ... you know. If you were aroused by Deadpool's disfigured face, have an addiction to pot, and the right equipment between your legs, Spencer's can meet all your needs! (except getting a bondsman to get you out of jail for doing pot).
