Since I didn't take my DSLR to work today, I was limited to iPhone shots. I took a few I didn't deem crappy, and since this week is "diptych/triptych/quadtych(?)" week, I decided to stick 'em together in Photoshop and put one together.
Here you go. An "Ad Hoc" day at work. I think I'll try this again (properly next time, like actually plan it out instead of slamming four together after the fact). Hence the (1) in the title.
Clockwise from top left: Catching the train from the employee lot, "The Walkaround", climbing out over Vancouver Island southbound, pushback in SFO (San Francisco) next to a Speedbird (British Airways) 747.
p.s. A couple weeks ago I went to SFO and we killed a hawk during takeoff. Today, we killed a sparrow on takeoff. The poor First Officer had to stare at bird splatter on her windscreen the whole way down to SFO. We cleaned it upon landing btw… In the interest of NOT grossing you out, I didn't shoot that, just my "unsullied" window. She took a snap of her window though! :D
Just call me "Birdslayer" (Anisha will get a kick outta that one, it's a Game of Thrones thing… ;) )
The red sky's from the setting sun, unfortunately not the burning remnants of Market Weighton. It looked a bit more impressive in the flesh but the Polaroid's done well!
Skyhook takes an afternoon to cruise to Provincetown, MA where we were forced to have a few beverages and yummy food. Awful job...

On our first grilling night of the year we got to enjoy our first day of hanging flower basket season. Woo hoo! Boomer always does such a good job outfitting our side porch with flowers, and it's always so nice to all sit on the benches behind them, waiting on the charcoals, perhaps enjoying a wee tipple, and unwind after our work days. It was also awesome to be eating turkey burgers that were grilled instead of griddled. Speaking of aspects of summer that we tend to forget during the dark months.
