Bringing supplies to the kiddos and we crashed. I hope we can fight our way out of this one to make sure the kids can eat :D
The photo of this bird, and several others from my Lapland trip, were taken through the window at a charming tustic hotel and cafe in Kaamanen, where we stayed for the final night before heading back to Ivalo Airport.

I really loved the class and glad I had the opportunity to participate. Tried to take it slow, and I although struggled with it a few times, I enjoyed the process overall. One thing I found very hard to do is to add figures to it Which I never could overcome the block on. Do you have any suggestions on how to get figures in my painting. Also Diane, I was wondering if you recommend using a varnish on your paintings when finished.
Yeah... so this is what happens when Gma steps out for a minute to take out the trash. (I was at school Hunny I promise)

I love death valley. It is amazing ..especially if you are a photographer. This was taken at the badwater basin..and the white stuff u see here is salt. This basin is officially the lowest point in North America at 282ft below sea level.
Also used Lightroom for the RAW conversion for the first time...love that s/w....sweet.
