A festive interior view of Covent Garden Market in London, looking up at the spectacular installation of giant Christmas bells and baubles hanging from the historic glass roof. The oversized decorations fill the iconic market hall with reflections and colour, transforming the cast‑iron and glass structure into a dramatic seasonal display.
Each year Covent Garden is known for its large‑scale Christmas installations and lights, turning the 19th‑century former fruit and vegetable market into one of London’s most popular festive destinations for visitors, shoppers and photographers.

An exterior view of Samsung KX in Coal Drops Yard, King's Cross, London, photographed from street level during blue hour, with the sky in twilight and the store glowing against the historic brick warehouses
Samsung KX sits within Coal Drops Yard, a retail and public space created by Heatherwick Studio from two long Victorian coal drop warehouses originally built in the 1850s to store and transfer coal for London. The project links the old industrial brick viaducts with a dramatic kissing roof, extended gabled roofs that rise and sweep towards each other and form a new upper level, now home to part of the Samsung store and other spaces overlooking the yard.

A blue hour photograph of Granary Square at King’s Cross, capturing a calm reflection of the Christmas tree, surrounding buildings and deep blue sky in the still surface of the Granary Square fountains.
Granary Square is the main public piazza of the King’s Cross regeneration, roughly the size of Trafalgar Square and framed by the former Granary Building, once an 1850s canal side grain store and now home to Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. Opened in 2012, it sits at the heart of a car free network of public spaces that have helped turn King’s Cross into one of London’s most vibrant new neighbourhoods.
Just beyond the square lies Coal Drops Yard, a contemporary shopping and dining district created by Heatherwick Studio from two Victorian coal warehouses originally built in the 1850s to handle coal arriving by rail from the north of England.

Its interiors mix Gothic Revival and Tudor inspired detailing, with elaborate woodwork, sculpture and stained glass that celebrate literature, history and craftsmanship.
The stained glass ceiling brings coloured light down into the heart of the staircase hall, emphasizing the vertical drama of the space and the building’s role as one of London’s hidden architectural treasures.

A festive interior view of Liberty London, looking up into the central atrium at the handcrafted Good Ship Liberty suspended above the store. The ship, crewed by playful elves and surrounded by presents, hangs in the heart of the space and echoes the famous galleon weathervane on the rooftop, capturing the atmosphere of Liberty at Christmas.
Liberty’s flagship building on Great Marlborough Street is a Grade II listed London landmark, built in 1924 in a Tudor‑revival, timber‑framed style using oak and teak from two decommissioned Royal Navy ships.
Designed by Edwin T. Hall and Edwin S. Hall, its mock Tudor façade, wood panelled interiors and triple atrium layout reflect founder Arthur Lasenby Liberty’s vision of an Arts and Crafts inspired ship of craftsmanship and design moored in the West End.

A striking black and white image looking up one of the two original side staircases at Tate Britain, London. These architecturally significant staircases, dating from the building’s 1897 design, sit on either side of the central Rotunda. While less publicised than the Rotunda or Manton staircases, they play a crucial role in the gallery’s historic circulation and embody the understated elegance of Victorian architecture. This photo captures the stairs’ timeless details and structural grace, offering a fresh perspective on an often overlooked part of the museum’s design.
