About 3 months after this picture was taken, we had added enough equipment that the ambient temperature was sufficient to cause warnings. The smoked glass front was replaced with a mesh front, and things worked much better.

CRAC #7, to be removed and saved for spare parts, in G109, and replaced with a 28 Ton APC CRAC unit. CRAC stands for "Computer Room Air Conditioner". This is a Liebert Series/3 20 Ton compressor-based unit, which runs off of chilled water supplied by the Purdue Wade power plant, and 480V 3-phase delta power.
Several dignitaries, including Utah Lt. Governor Greg Bell, Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and Utah National Guard Adjutant General Brian Tarbet, break ground on a new cyber-intelligence datacenter at Utah's Camp Williams.
The $1.2 billion facility will house linguists and cybersecurity experts when finished in October 2013. It will also have its own 65 megawatt power supply to feed a large server farm.
The NSA will be the primary agency operating the center, though other agencies will have access to the data mined there.
