Seinustu vikuna í júlí var athygli landans á Borgarfirði eystri þar sem Emilíana Torríni hélt tónleika ásamt skosku rokkhljómsveitinni Belle & Sebastian. Emilíana, sem ólst að hluta til upp á Borgarfirði, hélt tónleika þar sumarið 2005 sem lukkuðust svo vel að hún kom aftur og tók hina skosku vini sína með.
