Putting together a Supermicro disk chassis ( SC847E26-RJBOD1 ) .

This is a JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks) setup, there is no motherboard in the chassis.

45 x 3TB Seagate Barracuda SATA. we get about 108TB total with Raid6

The Head is provided by a separate Supermicro 5017C-URF 1U server with an Areca ARC-1882X Controller. Connected with 2 x CBL-0166 (SFF 8088 to SFF 8088) cables.
