Jasper got a new bow tie for Christmas from one of his human cousins. Thought it paired nicely with his fedora. Getting his bow tie to show was a challenge though. The boy is furry.

Many moons ago I once helped to shoot a wedding. A co-worker of Brandon's was tying the knot and enlisted him to shoot, Brandon subsequently asked if I wanted to help. What better way to try out my markiii? I had a busy day but moved an interview to the earlier part of the day which is where I snapped this shot.

I ended up putting in way more effort than needed on a video I was severely underpaid for but it was a learning experience. I wasn't too bothered as I'd never done a wedding before and since then I've gotten better at video, better with dealing with clients, and better at asserting my worth. Things were a lot simpler back then. I'm not upset with where I am now; saddened with certain things, yes, but overall I like to try and imagine I'm in a better place.

You can't really deny, that, this male “mandarin” duck just look so dapper as he paraded around up on a log as though it was his “catwalk” and proceeded to call, whilst, displaying his fine plumage for a mate, he deserves to be successful for the effort he went to.

I always look forward to hearing the Dapper Dans when I'm at the park. At times they sound so good, people actually think they are lip syncing. In fact, there were more than a few folks on a Disney Discussion board recently who swore up and down that they were lip syncing to a track. As I explained to them, this can EASILY be disproved if you spend any time at all watching them and you actually use your powers of observation. The bicycle built for four is always a nice touch. :)
