I'm going to order the dress for Disneyland Dapper Day in September. I'm planning on wearing a red belt, and some sort of hair accessory. Which pair of vintage-style shoes are your favorite with this dress? 1, 2, 3, or 4?

The Leica Summicron-C 40mm f/2 (a differently-branded twin to Minolta's M-Rokkor 40mm f/2 MC, albeit without multicoating) is an unbelievably small lens that performs quite wonderfully for its vintage. Many don't like the lens' bokeh, but I find it quite pleasing here. My only gripes so far: the rubber hood feels silly and can detach itself without much provocation, and the focusing throw on my copy is extremely stiff. I prefer the angular focusing tab as opposed to the scalloped variant used on modern Leica lenses.

We dressed at the Hollywood stunt team, !3 Black Cats, a group that thrilled spectators with wild stunts and wingwalking...
