I made these two out of felt, and completely hand-stitched them. On the back of their tags is their story.
"Dapper Dan is quite the man,
with his bow-tie and the twinkle in his eye.
He's cute and sweet,
a bunny you'd like to meet.
He's oh-so loyal & very kind,
a nicer bunny you'll never find."
"Boo hoo" cries Blubby!
Blubby is the happiest bunny in the land, until he watches a sad movie. When the sad parts begin he starts to cry, and he doesn't stop till someone tells him a funny joke. Then he laughs so hard, he starts to cry again, but this time they're happy tears. Funny Blubby.
Haven't worn dress pants and shoes for a while... Less than two months ago at the last competition my video won in :)
The Dapper Dans performing on Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida. Left to Right: Chad, Kevin, Ken, and Dan. The instruments on the ground are Deagan Organ Chimes. Each Deagan Organ Chime consists of eight chimes having three octaves of a single note, comprising a C scale. The Organ Chimes were made by the J.C. Deagan Company in Chicago, IL around 1901.
Flapper went back to the vet this morning for a follow-up on his suspected mass and infection.
Good news so far. After a week of antibiotics they couldn't feel any mass. Hopefully what they felt was just swelling or an abscess from the infection. Blood test results tomorrow will show if the infection is gone. So far so good. We're hoping the infection stays gone and doesn't have any underlying cause.
Flapper Update: Blood work says the infection is gone, so we're all good for now. We'll hope he remains infection-free and wait and see before doing anything else.
