I was impressed with the movements and gracefulness of the beautiful Ballerina who whirled around on her toes. Her presence captured the attention of the crowd which after her set gave a standing ovation as the other performers recieved for a show well done.

Quietly lost in the movement of her golden dance of light, a young member of Walla Walla’s Ballet Folklorico Estrellas de Mexico gracefully flows through music and the vibrant colors of her dress during a performance at Pioneer Park in Walla Walla, Washington.

'NOIR VIBRATIONS' by Noir Tater, the August-September 2022 exhibition @ The Annex of Nitroglobus.
Immediately after I spotted Noir's work at Debora's art gallery some time ago, I was taken by the colorful and interesting way of their work. So I had to invite Noir to show their work at Nitroglobus.
Noir is an interesting figure, who struggles with gender identity. Well this is not unique and for sure not unique in SL. In Noir's photography them presents themselve most of the time as male and also in this exhibition it's the unique awesome looking male Noir we can admire.
My special thanks goes to Adwehe for creating the awesome light art for this exhibition.

We went shopping in San Francisco's Chinatown, and unknowingly bumped into the Chinatown Autumn Moon Festival. Grant Ave, the main street of Chinatown was most off-limits for cars, and was a very busy place. Dancers got ready for a dragon dance.

Milena Carbone, inspired to choreograph Henry Purcell's classic from his opera "Dido and Aeneas," found the perfect muse in her friend Dido Haas, who eagerly embraced the idea to honor Nitro in their once shared space, the Nitroglobus gallery.
This twenty-minute ballet is a montage of four interpretations of Purcell's work:
- Jessye Norman's original operatic rendition,
- A modern interpretation by Elisabeth Fessler on trumpet, with Cristian Ganicenco on trombone and loop station,
- Annie Lennox's classical duet with a choir, a poignant video creation during the COVID era,
- And Christina Pulhar's jazz-infused version.
Dancers Dido Haas and Lalitha Carbone will bring these musical narratives to life against a backdrop of four videos, creating an immersive experience within a darkened cube.

I was invited to take photos of the Children's Day event at a Japanese school in Pleasanton, California. The Uzumaru Yosakoi team did several dance performances in their colorful costume. Yosakoi (よさこい) is a unique style of dance is highly energetic, combining traditional Japanese dance movements with modern music.

Dandiya is a traditional folk dance from Gujarat, India, performed with decorated sticks during the Hindu festival of Navratri. The dance involves partners facing each other, clashing sticks, and performing intricate steps to the beat of music. Now it is performed through in India during Dasara.
