The dance show choreographed by Milena Carbone, on the theme of Dido's Lament by Henry Purcell which Lalitha and I performed this evening at Carbone Dance Hall.
It featured four variations on the theme: classical, contemporary, modern and jazz.
This one-off show, private and by reservation only, is organized in memory of Nardis, who passed away in France on April 22 this year.
Nardis was a mutual friend of Milena and Dido.

Ballet is a dance that takes many hours of practice and for the dance company that performed the Nutcracker was incredible and a well worth performance that many look forward to seeing each holiday season.

This was part of a dance performance called Middle East meets Latin that took place in Louisville. Some of the funds for the event were to be contributed to the Center for Women and Families, which is a rape crisis and domestic violence center serving Louisville.
Our local photography group was invited to take photos of the dance performance.
