Finished my Rey custom! I might make a few changes in the future but for now I'm satisfied with how she turned out
Pencil sketch of Rey from Star Wars The Force Awakens.
I have barely just gotten back into drawing/sketching after 20 years of a pause. Still much to learn, but here she is.
Comparing to the original Han Solo and Chewbacca Star Wars Black (plastic) 6-inch figures. You can see these "Elite" figures are a bit bigger than the Star Wars Black figures, since I'd expect Finn to be the same height as Han and Rey to be a little shorter.
Kef Bir ... “The Emperor's wayfinder is in the Imperial vault. At delta 3-6, transient 9-3-6, bearing 3-2, on a moon in the Endor system. From the southern shore. Only this blade tells. Only this blade tells.”
“Don’t be afraid of who you are!”
Good Light & May the Force be with you!

I recently put together this composition of my Kylo cosplay and absolutely love it. It took a couple of hours but I think it paid off. It was made with Photoscape X and a few squadrons of Tie Fighters :p Here's to a great ending for the Skywalker saga! 11.9.19

This is the 6-inch version of Rey. I don't collect the 6-inch versions as a rule but a local discount store were selling off a select few at £5.99 so I thought it would be daft not to. Plus, I like the characters of Rey and BB-8.
Been meaning to put together a group shoot like this for a while, and finally got around to doing it. This is the static, portrait shot. From left to right:
- Hot Toys Rey from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" (2015)
- Phicen/Executive Replicas Caroline Munro as Stella Star from "Starcrash" (1978)
- (standing) Takara/Blue Box Toys Jun/Princess from "Kagaku Ninjatai Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets," depending on which side of the Pacific you watched this show (1972)
- (kneeling) Phicen/Executive Replicas/Go Hero Wilma Deering from "Buck Rogers" (1928)
- Hot Toys Princess Leia from "Star Wars: A New Hope" (1977)
- Takara/Blue Box Toys Deunan Knute from "Appleseed: Ex Machina" (2007)
I enjoyed the new Star Wars movie and Daisy Ridley is going to be huge star. I also love the high res sensor of the A7Rm2. Slowish hand held shots are no problem and I was amazed that I could zoom in and read the copyright line for the movie ad with no pixelation.
Comparison to their Disney Infinity figures. Rey can get in more-or-less the same pose as her Infinity figure, but Finn can't hold his blaster rifle to save his life.
Second pastel pencil drawing of Rey from Star Wars The Force Awakens. This is my favorite photo still of her.

I am not 100% satisfied. I'll work on improving.
