My wonderful Daisy crossed the Rainbow Bridge in August 2021. She was on medication for the last year of her life. But she remained a happy, loving & playful cat right to the end. Friends will remember her determination in claiming The Chair &, of course, her pink ballet shoes. She came to live with me when she was a small, scared stray kitten. She stole my heart on her first day with me, jumping on to my lap to claim her place from the start. She was loving, determined, naughty, funny… Always remembered with love - I was very fortunate to have her.

Cycling through the Castle Grounds, I came upon a mower doing a verge under some trees, as it passed this single daisy survived and as it popped up into the one sunbeam that made it through the thick canopy, it flashed at me, I had to take it. Thank you for looking.
. . . It was a night of lightning and thunder, torrential rains (4 inches at least), flooding in the front yard, and beach washouts, but the Daisies are loving every moment of it!

These little daisies add an attractive burst of colour in the garden early in the year. I really couldn't decide what was the best crop for this picture, and finally ended up with this version. I must be going mad! I took this in the rain in the garden crouched under my wife's tiny umbrella, which was to keep the rain off the camera, not me.
