Ort: 17039 Brunn (Dahlen)
Old Village Church of Dahlen (Neubrandenburg)
A church architecture that captivates me as a viewer.
The Dahlen Church is a fieldstone building from the 13th century and is built in the Gothic style. A half-timbered tower was built on the 15th-century fieldstone tower base in the 18th century.
Location: 17039 Brunn (Dahlen)
"Albert Camus once said that autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower. Now I'm standing in a sea of flowers."

"The waltz can be sad and at the same time uplifting. You have to see life from both sides, and the waltz encapsulates that. If you're in my audience you give yourself to me and the waltz will grab you."

Ronan: Where are your shoes, Peter?
Peter: Over there.
Ronan: .... as opposed to on your feet. Peter– you can't not wear shoes.
Peter: Those shoes are the devil!
Haha, I took this picture a while back. Poor Peter absolutely hates his shoes! They always make him fall over and I saw him complaining to Ronan about them. Of course, I told him he still has to keep his shoes around, but whenever he goes anywhere in the house, he's always barefoot.

Venabygd mountain chapel is centrally located on Venabygdsfjellet, on a farm plot. The chapel itself is a rectangular building in stone and wood with a turf roof and a small bell tower (like a food bell with an onion-shaped dome with a cross on top). It was designed by Odd Østbye, and the builder was Ole Dalbakk. It appears almost like a farm (or part of such) and blends well into the surroundings. The facility comprises three buildings, and includes accommodation for around 20 people as well as a fireplace lounge and kitchen.
The chapel was built under the auspices of Venabygd Fjellkapellag on the initiative of parish priest in Ringebu, Simon Dahlen. Funds were raised from locals, cottage owners and business people, and planning began in the 1960s. The chapel was built on a voluntary basis, and it was consecrated by Bishop Georg Hille on 15 July 1979. Recently, it is reported that Ringebu Rotary has been involved in tarring the buildings twice.
When it comes to furniture and decoration, the literature tells about stained glass paintings by Terje Grøstad, church textiles designed by Inga Karin Jonson and spun, woven and sewn by women from the village, and altar equipment in ceramics by Kirsten Østbye. The chapel has an electronic Allen organ, acquired in the anniversary year 1999.
There is no cemetery here.

'Aww, don't be like that, Roro!'
'I fricking hate you.'
'Whatever for?'
'I'M IN MY SHORTS, GODDAMNIT!'"

NR24 has wasted no time getting 3MA8 back up to speed following a stop at Horsham. At the time this was shot, The Overland only ran twice a week in each direction, a far cry from The Overland of years gone by. The future of the train is likely much the same as the abandoned silo it is passing - on borrowed time.
