This dad is taking care of his two grackle babies. They're big enough and old enough to feed themselves and often do but as long as dad is willing to cater to them they will take advantage of it.

I will make a long series of 60 photos, divided into two parts, one of 30 standard photos and another with 30 more photos, with a much more personal look ... = O)

I never had a close relationship with my father. He died in 2014.
One of my childhood memories is that we used to watch a documentary together every friday night. It was at a time when there were only 3 TV channels out there.. *smile* ... now you know that I must be quite old .. but TV already was in color *grins*
What's left is my love for documentaries bout nature, sience, travels ... and the fragrance of the vanilla tobacco of that pipe...

What a good Burrowing Owl dad. He brings breakfast for one of his hungry owlets. Besides being the provider, he also takes out the trash, gives flight lessons, and stands guard over his family and their home. Happy Father's Day.
This pied avocet seems to teach its little chick how to find food in the water. It looked so adorable how the small little fluff ball so seriously tried to act like mom (or dad?).

He wasn't happy with my being in the garden hoping to catch the cubs playing and barked at me until I went inside. This was taken from inside my house and I still felt guilty..
Never anything wrong with a little Dad time. Lost mine years ago, and my wife just lost hers. Be sure to take every chance you have for a little Dad time.

Still posting the shots of the chicks from yesterday out of sequence. At this point the dominant chick was aware that Bronson had returned with a mouse and was calling to him, and telling the other two to come up too.
Way behind again but it has been a busy day, and, thankfully, the last day of Home Schooling for Daniel.
Challenge: Inspired by a Photographer. My dad has always been and is still a photographer. In this photo are images of one of his favorite subjects and the camera given to him by his parents. Dad...always an inspiration!
