At the beach for sunset and I had my 14-24mm and my 70-200mm lens with me. These crabs were under a rock and my 14-24 had no chance of getting a good shot. This was taken with my 70-200mm and the 2x teleconvertor.

400mm, f/5.6, SS 1/15, ISO 4000 and handheld :-)

More shots below. These are like Mallards. Except not as bulky, more slender bill with orange edges, and that little white patch which sometimes is visible on the wing. But, easy to ignore and let you think you saw nothing but Mallards.
