Whilst out and about I came across this rather fine Jaguar XK150 fixed head coupe parked up and in a position to photograph, 8th August 2020. The Jaguar XK150 was produced between 1957 and 1960 with around 9,400 vehicles produced in three basic types, a roadster, a fixed head coupe and a drop head coupe. They were fitted with a double overhead cam straight six XK engine of either 3.4 litre or 3.8 litre.

2 DRR is a 3.4 litre XK150 first registered in September 1959.

Looking for all the world that they have just pulled into Devonport Old Yard with a freight, the sad truth is that MA2 & MA4 have been dragged from Launceston to Devonport as part of the load. The two pacifics were destined for the fledgling Don River Railway. MA2 had been in storage since the 1971 Centenary celebrations whilst MA4 had been Launceston's steam cleaner until suffering firebox damage.
