My second attempt at a clubbing dress. This time, I used some scraps I had that were of a good size. I'm happy with this one, now I just need someplace to wear it.

Prom Dress by Body Type Series Look #5: The 'Skittle'
You have a skittle (bowling pin) body shape if you have...
average bust, slim waist, ok tummy, big thighs, and chunky calves (like Halle Berry).
For prom, look for a dress that concentrates on your top half. Look for a dress with a simple, figure-skimming skirt, and a bodice that is fitted and low cut, which will show off your bust and small waist. High heels and pretty jewelery complete the look. You likely have short legs, so avoid any heels with ankle straps.

For Sewing Children's Clothing week!
From McCall's M5613 I used Dress C and opted to just tie her straps instead of using buttons. Fabric is actually a vintage thrifted sheet that was still new in package! Also First time making buttonholes on my machine!
A few simple shells added to hold your mirror, hankie, spare keys, cellphone, Ipod, and a touch of glitter to pepper it!
Lovely dress.

This is a VINTAGE ballet costume. It is a one piece dress including a six panel bodice and three layer chiffon skirt. This dress features a built in hook and pocket closure on the back. There are three rows of pockets at the closure which allows the costume to be somewhat adjustable should the wearer gain or lose weight. The skirt is somewhat transparent, and this listing does not include the underwear / bloomers normally worn with this sort of costume.
This dress was originally made about 10 years ago for a production of Coppelia. It is in very good condition, as it was only worn a maximum of 7 times. Even so, there is some yellowing under the arms.
