As much as I would love to see more women wearing dresses these days, I also like the fact that as one the few women wearing dresses, I can stand out among the hoi polloi :)
Today is a festive day so I'm wearing a nice party dress with shiny miniskirt and cute poufy sleeves.
Satisfaction and fulfillment, certainly. I also want to be respected.
And, with no false modesty, I crave admiration.

here's a second show-up in this dress. I love smocked fabric and I think it works out well with the wetlook black fabric in this dress. Next time I will share it with some red pumps...
My mom made these dresses, and I wore them as a little girl. They were gently hand washed and put away for the future. Both my girls have worn them and once again they have been put away for the future. I'm going to miss these little dresses...

Hopscotch skirt in a size 6 and sailboat capris in size 3. I stitched down the flap on Mickey's pants and sewed on the buttons. He will be able to pull them on and off without buttonholes.
If I don't do this stuff... how will I ever embarrass them with these photos later in life?

Finally, another piece of the full set is finished. This is what it looks like without the white cape. When I first designed the dress, I wanted it to be simple because there have been a lot of decorations on the cape already. However, ‘simple’ doesn’t mean ‘boring’.
