An immensely thick fog overlaid almost everything when I was on top of Cadillac Mountain.. a distant cruise ship peeked through.
Single shot with reflection. No photoshop. :) One of the final shots taken from a long, tiring, but beautiful BDay weekend journey. This was taken on the tram, in the airport, while I was in a sleepy daze. I hadn't slept much in 4 days and it all seemed to be a lucid dream for me.

Taken late afternoon with my new G2,new to me anyway, here in the UK were having some great sunsets at the moment the weather being kind as well. Just playing with settings really like i always do with a new camera.
Dreamscape
My gnome decided that he needed some shade under the Hydrangea. The Hydrangea is finally blooming. Lots of blooms after last year when it didn't bloom at all because of a killing frost.
My gnome garden in the back yard is all in miniature. My friend got me this gnome at Goodwill. She is the queen of shopping at Goodwill. She buys clothes and transforms them. She usually gets lots of ribbons. Her latest blue ribbon was at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt show in February.
I did the method 2 in the dreamscape lesson. I used only a 25 percent gaussian blur. I don't like the images too blurry. I made the second layer B&W. I added the grass at the bottom using an Inky Deal image. I added two borders.
Originally taken in color. I desaturated the color, tweaked contrast and brightness, softened and added fim grain.
The little bench on beachyhead, which had been my favourite spot for some naked eye & binocular astronomy throughout the summer. Just a 30sec exposure @ f/3.5, and ISO3200. Wish I had a faster lens, and a better camera. The noise is just terrible...
p.s. I could've benefited from some Diazepam...

An eclectic mix of textiles, both commercial and hand dyed and painted to depict the landscape of a dream. Birds flew the coop and many moons ruled the tides of an alternate existence, wherein lush, tropical flowers and plants flourish in dark places,
Free motion quilting describes the emotional flavor of the dream adding tension alternately with strong, stable forces, finally meandering around the edges to calm and unify the piece.
The glint of gold thread and brass beads in various stages of aging, some still sparkling, others shpowing the beginnings of a patina complete the saga of the dream.
