Hello everyone !!!
So here's something i've been working for a couple months now. Ever since i first saw Bee's alt mode on DOTM i feel in love with it and i've been trying to get this guy to look like his DOTM self for a while now.
Especially now that my WeiJiang M01 Commander is gonna arrive in the next couple of weeks i wanted this guy to be on that high standard their Evasion Prime it's on.
So since this guy was on the ROFT color scheme the my main goal was to make him look like the DOTM SS Camaro.
I didn't only modded the paint job but i also did a leg modification, changed the way he transforms so the proportions look right and added a new set of hands.
This is also the first time i've sculpted something so large as the loger arm armor, it's by no means perfect but i like how it looks so i won't change it.

I added the Spoiler,added the new headlights, painted the winshields on a nice gloss black,etc
I'm super happy with both modes overall and i hope you like him too !

Well after seeing Ross' Lego Transformers DOTM Carly, I decided to make one. I made one because he asked me to make decals and I said "Why not? :P". So here is my Lego Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon Carly! I used labels for this one because it makes the dress flow better, with the skirt.
I plan on changing the head soon.

Hey everyone! Here is Crankcase, one of the dreads, from Dark of the Moon. Dotm needed some love so this is my first completely new transformer from the movie (jetwing optimus doesn't count) In case you are wondering which one was crankcase in the movie, he's the one who gets thrown onto a car by Ironhide and slammed into a shop and explodes. I'm not sure if I am going to do the other dreads (Crowbar+Hatchet) because they all turn into the same vehicle mode but have different robot modes. Not really my best but I do like both robot and vehicle mode thought I find the transformation very annoying. I'm going to be very busy this week so I won't be starting on my next transformer yet.
Robot mode- Not bad, though he has a lot of kibble on him (The toy also had a lot though it did a better job at compacting it) especially the panels on his arms and his big backpack. with the front windshield hanging off of it (I couldn't do anything about that) The big backpack doesn't bother me as much as I originally though probably because it doesn't really interfere with articulation. The legs came out very nice especially how the back wheels fold in and are covered by the panels. I tried my best to create his "robo dreadlocks" and the pincers on his back. (His design in the movie is supposed to be based off Predator)
Vehicle mode- He is a Chevrolet suburban emergency vehicle. My favorite out of the 2 modes. Fairly clean and does a good job on hiding the robot parts. It also has side view mirrors which I often forget to put on my carformers
Transformation- Check out the video on my photostream. Most of it was had to be engineered by myself because the toy's transformation was almost impossible to pull off in lego form at this scale.
i think this is the most "cool" robot in the whole movie series. too bad it died so "easy" only by human gunfire power (which i think should not hurt him at all!).
borrowed this figure from my friend for a while. because i dont intend to add another line to my collection LOL XD
A giant fireball explodes on Wacker Drive for the Transformers 3 movie, "Dark of the Moon." Now that the trailer is out, we know that this is the location where Optimus Prime kicks some serious butt with his sword.

It's so great having my work window facing this view. All day long while they were filming this scene there were soldiers shooting. And the shooting was loud. I was on a call with DC about a website design, gunshots were blaring outside my window, and DC asked, "what's going on over there." I replied, "oh nothing, just gunshots. Y'know. Chicago."
But seriously, I should have just hung up the phone, because everytime they fired, I would stand up on my desk to watch. It happened all day. Yeah, a lot of productivity happened that day. Not. But it seriously did improve employe morale. It's just so freakin cool to have a prime-time seat watching the Transformers being filmed all day. I kept my camera on the tripod on my window sill for whenever something cool would happen. Like, cars flipping and stuff.
I stayed late at work to shoot them continue to film. And that's when the FIREBALLS started to happen. That's right, GIANT FIREBALLS on Wacker Drive.
And now with the Transformers trailer out for "Dark of Moon," we see that this is VERY SCENE WHERE OPTIMUS PRIME KICKS BUTT. Sam Witwicky calls out to Optimus Prime for help. Lo and behold, here comes Optimus flying into the scene, transformers and kicks butt while explosions go off around him. Prime takes his sword out and totally spears one Decepticon and then spears another Decepticon. We don't know how many Decepticons he spears, because it's a trailer. I can't wait to see the entire scene.
The movie is being released by Hasbro, Di Bonaventura Pictures, and Paramount Pictures.
