Legend says that Atlantis city was built by Poseidon, god of sea when he fell in love with a mortal woman Cleito. He made this city on top of a nearby hill and named it Atlantis. It is believed that he walked through these islands until he reached the biggest of them all- Atlantis and found it to be inhabited by people more beautiful and intelligent than rest of the world. It is here he first saw his future wife and fell in love with her.

Doorways in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

As many of you know, I love being in the forest. I took this on Mt. Habrich, on top of the Sea to Sky Gondola. The trail was mostly empty, but it was nice to see another photographer along the way.

My own background plus png guy with red umbrella, fx'd to the max.

There were so many dogs in Tilcara, Argentina. They were shy (except around a female in heat) and only a fraction were obviously someone's pet. But they looked healthy and fed. They'd move from doorway to doorway to nap, and for protection from the unusual rain that was coming down.

I love all the flower at this Pienza doorway. The bicycle is the added bonus. If you visit Pienza, you'd find many charming doorways like this one.

Vicolo degli Abbandonati/ Alley of the Abandoned. Volterra, Tuscany, Italy 2022

This short stretch, which acts as a connection between via Persio Flacco and via Lungo le mura, was once part of the maze that made up 'The Labyrinth'.

In the past, the Alley of the Abandoned was the place where those who had no home and needed help.

Covered by an arch, it seems to guarantee, even on an architectural level, the necessary protection for those who did not have a refuge.
