Don’t look back. Let unpleasant things go. Forgiveness is the key to set you free. Keep moving on. Life is like a play. In fact, you are writing and directing your own life story. With this understanding, I am directing my life script as a comedy.

" A cleaner for removing evil, home purification, and unjinxing and clearing out unwanted oogies from your household or business; a few drops may be added to uncrossing or purification baths.

Perfect for house cleansing to protect you and your loved ones.

Dispose of your wash water at the crossroads, or an old tree.

Pour the water out, turn around, walk away, and don't look back."

Very important - "don't look back."

Easier said than done.

Planning my exit from a 27 yr marriage was taxing.

Packing to leave w/ verbal abuse... even more.

Still..I left feeling jubilant & excited for my future.

And surprised how much it hurts.

I'm only human , after all...

Figured it was about time I put together a li'l website. Everyone who's anyone is doing it.

Here you can see my work, see some stuff I've not posted, lots of stuff I already have.

You can check out my new blog(which isn't really that new, it's just my Tumblr site repurposed & renamed, but hey, new enough), and see all the sites I use and am a part of.

BUT HERE'S THE KICKER:

You'll be able to have some of it for your very own. Original Polaroids. Prints of medium format shots. My book. And I'm thinking some shirts, too, because who wants to walk around without a shirt on?

ALL THIS, ON MY WEBSITE!!!

Sure, it's a portfolio site, but it's so much more. A lounge. A radio station. A band aid. Low income housing. A refreshing dessert. That toy you lost when you were a child.

So come, check it out, let's get this party started.

And by "party," I mean Cult.

11/04/00-11/04/09=R.I.P. Happy Anniversary???

How uncomfortable it is to have a date that should by all rights equal happiness and love..be a day of discomfort and uncertainty. Gone are the flowers...the cards...the sweet sentiments...the forget-me-nots...the gift of love and adoration. Replaced by foulness..anger..bitterness...blame...finger pointing and an incessant need to run fast in any other direction! Today shall be a tough one as I am in the throws of divorce and moving on yet still in my complacency and awaiting the loose ends to be tied up. There is no finalization yet..it is limbo at its best. How does one get uncomplicated in a complicated mess? I do not cry or hope or wish or beg...for it is not the loss of my husband that bothers me but certainly I will mourn the loss of what I thought things would be....

BUT that road ahead sure does look colorful, bright and inviting..I think I shall get on it!

Although he bravely put on a happy face, he knew, deep down, that I was never coming back...

Day 37. Don't look back.

Thanks to Aimelle at deviantart, I used one of her bokehs.

Inspired by this really old-school song Walk and Don't Look Back, performed by a very young Mick Jagger and Peter Tosh at Youtube.

If your first lover broke your heart,

There's something that can be done.

You don't run, you don't hide, you don't run, you don't hide

Don't end your faith in love because of what he's done.

So if you just put your hand in mine,

We're gonna leave all our troubles behind.

Keep on walking, don't look back.

Forget about the past now.

A cliché may sometimes be used in a work of fiction for comedic effect. A spoken or written cliché is often a vivid depiction of an abstract matter that works by means of analogy or exaggeration. The picture used is usually drawn from everyday experience so that the recipient most probably can relate to the depiction by tentatively querying their reaction to what is conveyed in the picture. ~ Wikipedia

"That takes the biscuit"! I think this saying is more generally used in the UK, meaning: "The most surprising thing that could have occurred", or "something taken to the limit"

HCS ♥ Sorry not a new shot, I am still poorly in bed with this bloomin unshakeable virus! But cliche saying and very cliche bokeh :)

Took this shot in an old neighborhood I grew up in with friends. Always loved this stairway on this old house and it's still standing today. Located on Pinellas Point South on the "pink streets" with the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in sight....Memories : )

Food For Thought:

~The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps - we must step up the STAIRS.” Vance Havner

~“A man's health can be judged by which he takes two at a time - pills or STAIRS.” Joan Welsh

~“An escalator can never break: it can only become STAIRS. You would never see an Escalator Temporarily Out Of Order sign, just Escalator Temporarily Stairs. Sorry for the convenience.”

Mitch Hedberg

~“The elevator to success is out of order. You'll have to use the STAIRS...one step at a time.”

J. Girard

“In matters of climbing long STAIRCASES, how many stairs there are is not as important as how strong a will you have!”

~"Don't look back, you're not going that way"

~"You have brains in your head, and feet in your shoes, you can steer yourself in any direction you choose" Dr. Seuss (posted in honor of MNFISH www.flickr.com/photos/26241320@N04 love for Dr. Seuss : )

~"The phrase "do not be afraid" is written in the Bible 365 times. That's a daily reminder from God to live every day being fearless."

~"God changes caterpillars into butterflies, sand into pearls and coal into diamonds using time and pressure. He is working on us too :) "

~Before you speak T.H.I.N.K.~ T. is it True~H. is it Helpful~I. is it inspiring~N. is it necessary~K. is it kind?

~Someone else is happy with less than you have.

~When was the last time you did something for the first time?

~Never let the things you want make you forget the things you have

~Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase. Martin Luther King, Jr.

***Have a great weekend my very talented and creative friends! Headed out to North Carolina for 10 days, but I will be around to see your masterpieces when we find internet coverage as we can : ) Enjoy your weekend!

And enjoy Him, cause He sure enjoys YOU!

The camera makes everyone a tourist in other people's reality, and eventually in one's own.

This brown thrasher (the state bird of Georgia) seems to be pretending to be an owl with its head turned almost 180 degrees. Looking forward, I wish you all good things for the new year, including peace, love and music. Thank you for being such fine friends in our wonderful Flickrverse over the years. And please forgive my amateurish use of Picnik.

I hope to catch up with you later. Thank you for visiting.

I don't mean to be a grinch, but please express any New Year's wishes in text only, or link me to your image. Photos and still or moving images will be immediately deleted. (Just FYI, despite this request in my last post, I deleted 17 comments. Sorry, people, I just don't like such images on my stream, however well intended they are. I know you mean well. Thank you.)

I love visiting the deers, since they are used to visitors it is usually easy to get some shots before they realize you don't have any food to offer.

This day was especially great as there were a few deers with antlers. The deer in the back has only one antler.

I can see

It took so long to realize

I'm much too strong

Not to compromise

Now I see what I am is holding me down

I'll turn it around ~ Boston

Há o momento de chegada

E o instante de partida

Quanta vida já vivi

Quanto resta a ser vivida?

São dois espelhos quebrados

Dois vezes sete de má sorte

Já vivi quatorze anos

Quanto resta para a morte?

É fácil vê-la chegar

Em cada momento que passe

Pois se começa a morrer

No momento em que se nasce

Estou caminhando pra morte

Não decidi meu nascer

Da morte não sei o dia

Mas posso saber!

Pedro Bandeira
