This is a very silly cart like if you combined Dolly Parton with dill pickles and then raced to raise money for charity. These humans were living their best lives regardless and I was there for it!

LOVE IS LIKE A BUTTERFLY – DOLLY PARTON
SEPTEMBER DANCES
Butterfly kisses tickling my cheek
with gentle soft wings fluttering and meek
whispered words brushing my ears
caressing my skin
warm and golden
sun-kissed and velvety peach texture
such fine downy feelings
dreamy, delightful and meaningful glances
that conjure up September dances
of love and longing
such sweet all-embracing
touching and tracing our finger tips
down profiles so gleaming
in the subtly revealing
after-glow that left us
belonging and longing for more
knowing that this may be all that we have
let us savour the moments,
so precious and glad
to have gifted this time to each other.

“As she sewed, she told a story
From the Bible, she had read
About a Coat of Many Colors
Joseph wore and then she said
“Perhaps this coat will bring you
Good luck and happiness”
And I just couldn't wait to wear it
And Momma blessed it with a kiss”

She thanked the moon and
her bright guiding light
that once touched a face
like a kiss in the night
that awakened a soul
from an ocean so deep
and promised his heart
to another to keep
Safe in her hand
an ocean apart
two hearts beat as one
As they should from the start
She promised to love him
forever and a day
and the moon shone more brightly
and guided their way

a little nervous putting my camera on the ground considering it was about 120 degrees. the pavement burned my fingers a little actually.....
This is a gift I gave Dolly when I met her recently. The stones represent the 12 Parton children. Dolly's mom would make stone soup. Picking one stone from the child that needed a little extra attention and making stone soup to feed the family.
Nice quote from Dolly Parton - I wonder how much toilet roll she has? Stay strong and look after each other. Not just now but always.
And this red angry bird is from her beloved Nashville. So if you get tweet trolled, follow Dolly's example. Don't sweat it.

The Robert F. Thomas Chapel, located in the heart of Dollywood theme park, was built as a replica of the Appalachian mountain churches in the 1800's. Comprised of wooden pews and a small stage, the chapel has been one of the anchor points of the park since 1973 — long before it was called “Dollywood”. The chapel hosts weekly worship services each Sunday during Dollywood’s operating season (early Spring through late Fall). It is also the site of special Christmas services in November and December, along with other events throughout the year.
- Interesting Chapel Facts -
• It is named for Robert F. Thomas — a traveling doctor/preacher who was a soul-winner in Sevier County and other parts of Tennessee. Coincidentally, he was the doctor who delivered Dolly Parton. (The chapel was named in his honor nearly 20 years before Parton became part owner of the park).
• Constructed during the winter of 1972-73, the chapel was officially dedicated during a special service/ceremony on May 26, 1973.
• Park managers made the decision to build a chapel as a gift to the community, and Sevier County residents supported the construction by donating money, time and other gifts.
• Although ownership of the park has changed hands numerous times since the 1970s — it operated under the names “Goldrush Junction” and “Silver Dollar City, Tennessee” prior to Parton becoming part owner in 1986 — the chapel has remained an anchor point of the park.
• The chapel was built to provide a place of worship for employees and guests who are at the park on Sundays. Having the park open on Sundays was a controversial move in the 1970s, but the chapel provided an option for families to come to the park without missing Sunday worship.

The Bargain Store -Dolly Parton
"The Bargain Store”
My life is like unto a bargain store
And I may have just what you're lookin' for
If you don't mind the fact that all the merchandise is used
But with a little mending it could be as good as new
Why you take for instance this old broken heart
If you will just replace the missing parts
You would be surprised to find how good it really is
Take it and you never will be sorry that you did
The bargain store is open come inside
You can easily afford the price
Love is all you need to purchase all the merchandise
And I will guarantee you'll be completely satisfied
Take these old used memories from the past
And these broken dreams and plans that didn't last
I'll trade them for a future, I can't use them anymore
I've wasted love but I still have some more
The bargain store is open come inside
You can easily afford the price
Love is all you need to purchase all the merchandise
And I can guarantee you'll be completely satisfied
My life is like unto a bargain store
And I may have just what you're lookin' for
If you don't mind the fact that all the merchandise is used
With a little mendin' it could be as good as new
The bargain store is open, come inside
The bargain store is open, come inside
They just use your mind and they never give you credit
It's enough to drive you crazy if you let it...

The St Kilda Botanical Gardens are a very beautiful place to visit, not least for all for their wonderful array of roses found in the Alister Clarke Rose Garden.
Named after the famous American singer, song writer and multi-instrumentalist, "Dolly Parton" is a vigorous, bushy, large-flowered hybrid tea rose. Like its namesake it is brash, and doesn't make any apologies for it! Bred by American hybridiser, Joe Winchel, it is noted for its extremely fragrant, rich orange-red flowers that repeat bloom in flushes throughout the season.
The site of the St Kilda Botanical Gardens were established in the 1800's. The municipal council petitioned the Department of Lands and Survey to make this segment of land bordered by Dickens Street, Tennyson Street and Blessington Street a Botanic Garden. The gardens were formally established in 1859 when a boundary fence was erected. By 1907 significant donations of money and plant material had led to the establishment of a rosary, extensive flower beds and a nursery. Exotic forest trees were planted during the 1870s and Australian species were included in 1932. In the 1950s the Alister Clarke Rose Garden was established and a Sub-Tropical Rain-forest conservatory added in the early 1990's.

"I Will Always Love You"
If I should stay
I would only be in your way
So I'll go but I know
I'll think of you every step of the way
And I... will always love you, ooh
Will always love you
You
My darling, you...
Mmm-mm
Bittersweet memories –
That is all I'm taking with me.
So good-bye.
Please don't cry:
We both know I'm not what you, you need
And I... will always love you
I... will always love you
You, ooh
[Instrumental / Sax solo]
I hope life treats you kind
And I hope you have all you've dreamed of
And I wish you joy and happiness
But above all this I wish you love
And I... will always love you
I will always love you
I will always love you
I will always love you
I will always love you
I, I will always love you.
You.
Darling, I love you.
I'll always...
I'll always love you.

"I Will Always Love You" is a song written in 1973 and originally recorded by American singer-songwriter Dolly Parton. Her country version of the track was released as a single in 1974. It was written for her one-time partner and mentor Porter Wagoner, as a farewell since they were professionally parting career paths as Parton had chosen to pursue a solo career.
Parton's version of "I Will Always Love You" attained commercial success, twice reaching number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. First, in June 1974 and again in 1982 when her rerecording of the song also reached number one October of that year. With that accomplishment, Parton became the first artist ever to earn a number one record twice with the same song.
Whitney Houston recorded a cover version of the song for the 1992 film The Bodyguard. Her single spent 14 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It has since become one of the best-selling singles of all time.[3] Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You" re-charted in 2012 after her death, making it only the second single ever to reach the top three on the Billboard Hot 100 in separate chart runs.[4]
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo💜💜
One of the most famous Pigeon Forge attractions is certainly the Dollywood Express. To learn more about the history of the Dollywood train, you have to start in Alaska back in 1943 to first meet Klondike Katie, long before she was known as part of the Dollywood Express. Two Baldwin coal-fired steam trains—Klondike Katie, No. 192, and Cinderella, No. 70 (seen here)—were built in 1943 and 1938 respectively by Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia. Both trains served in Alaska during World War II, transporting troops and lumber on various missions across what would become the 49th U.S. state. Both engines were still in use when they were purchased from the Army. When engine No. 192 first arrived in Pigeon Forge in 1961, the area looked much different. She anchored a new attraction that had just been built that provided visitors with a five-mile journey through the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. In the early years, there was not even a workshop to house Klondike Katie. After several changes of ownership, the small park was acquired in 1977 by Jack and Pete Herschend of the Branson, Missouri-based Herschend Enterprises. Owners of Silver Dollar City in Branson, the brothers renamed the park Silver Dollar City, Tennessee. The big steam engine was acquired as part of the sale. But...this is just the first part of the history of the Dollywood trains! That same year, the Herschends acquired engine No. 70 and shipped her to the park to work alongside No. 192 which reunited the sister engines. After Dolly Parton and the Herschends formed Dollywood in 1986, and the number of visitors continued to climb, the two locomotives continued faithfully serving and adding to the history of the Dollywood train making the Dollywood Express one of the park’s most iconic attractions.
Specifications of Engine No. 70:
- Builder: Baldwin Locomotive Works (Philadelphia, PA)
- Arrangement: class 12-28 1/4 E class 2-8-2 Mikado, 36" gauge
- Built: May 1938, Baldwin serial #62234
- Total engine weight: 235,000 pounds
- Fuel: soft coal/water (two tons of coal per day)
- Power: 17" cylinder diameter with 22" stroke, generates 25,200 pounds of tractive effort through 44 inches drivers

I open up my door to greet the early morning sun
Closing it behind me and away I do run
To the meadow where the meadow lark is singing in the tree
In the meadow I go walking in the early morning breeze
I cup my hands to catch a multi-colored butterfly
Perched upon the petals of flowers growing wild
Freeing it I watch it as it flies away from me
To visit with the flowers in the early morning breeze
Rainbow colored flowers kissed with early morning sun .

Parton has been described as a "country music legend" and has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling female artists of all time. She has received 11 Grammy Awards out of 50 nominations, including the Lifetime Achievement Award; ten Country Music Association Awards, including Entertainer of the Year and is one of only seven female artists to win the Country Music Association's Entertainer of the Year Award; five Academy of Country Music Awards, also including Entertainer of the Year; four People's Choice Awards; and three American Music Awards.
