On this quiet Memorial Day Monday May 25,2020 afternoon ,we see Muddy Spring police officer Jermon Salrez walking out of Muddy Spring City Hall/Police Dept back to his unit .

Muddy Spring Population of about 1000 ,it is also located 14 miles north of the county line and is about 12 miles south of Apache the county seat of Apache county.

On this Wednesday Oct 13th 2021 .We see Hazzard Range county Sheriff's office Animal control ( AC ) Deputy Katy Paca talking with County animal shelter Director Jerry Lynn outside of the county own animal shelter . Other units pictured are assigned to Animal control Deputy Dorthy Vries and Animal control Deputy/Wildlife Investigator Dan Farco. The livestock trailer pictured also belong to Sheriff’s office is used to haul ATV/OHVs or horses to incidents in areas of the county that are not accessible by most vehicles

Hazzard Range county sheriff's office Deputy Christian Williams assisted County volunteer Fire Station 7 EMS and extrication ( Eagle Lake ) along with Hazzard Range Community Health center EMS on a medical call in Eagle lake .
As Inter County railway ( ICR ) "Rock train " slows into the Sparta Yard on this warm Thursday Oct 11th 2017 afternoon . Sparta is County seat of Hazzard Range county . These 5 hopper cars of rock and two empty boxcars along with a covered hopper will be connected to Sparta - Nelson turn . When the train arrives in Nelson ( in Sweetwater county ,the county to north of here ) where it will be interchanged with BNSF .

Boom is in Western Part of Apache County NM in the Terreno llano Seco basin ( TLS basin ) and Terreno llano Seco means dry flat land in Spanish . .TLS Basin is about 90 miles along ,about 20 miles wide in western Apache and Clay counties NM .
The population of Boom/the area around it , is around 1,000 people and sits about 35 miles west from Apache the county seat
Officer Bosh is using a backup unit as his normal one has been in the shop for the last two weeks for computer problems .

As another dry storm system for the southern part of this state moves through., on this Windy Tuesday, February 11th, 2025 late afternoon we see UPS and USPS busy at work, as Hazzard Range County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Joey Vela. A 7-year member of the Sheriff’s office, but 19 years before that working for the US Border Patrol and the Department of the Army Civilian Police. He walks back to his unit parked along Dallas Ave in Sparta the County seat, after testifying in a court trial at New Mexico 14th District Court around the corner in the County Government Center here in Sparta the county seat
Despite severe flooding and of course lockdowns Mikaela has managed to visit some of her local charity shops and grab me a wonderful selection of preloved diecasts. The best finds are of course castings and recolours I don't have in my collection and that very much includes this Matchbox Dodge Dakota.
I'm surprised its not a casting they've used for years but its sawtooth wheels and toy like livery tells you it hails from the Hero City era. Looks like unpainted grey plastic is nothing new at Matchbox either!

This area called East Sparta sits on eastern bank of Rio Grande river and is called besides East Sparta it is called ,Little south ,The bottoms or Old town by locals on eastern bank of Rio Grande river just east Downtown Sparta the county seat and East Sparta was town of Sparta site till 1912
