This is one of the most photographed abandoned vessels in western Ireland, being as it sits in the heart of Galway where every tourist can see it. The county council says they have no power to remove it, so we've all been treated to documenting the deterioration year after passing year.

أعجبتني عبارة رددها ابني عبد الرحمن يوماً .. وأظنه في ذلك السن لم يكن يفقه معناها..
كان يقول : طنِّش تعِش تَـنْـتَـعِش ..!!
تأملت في هذه العبارة وأنا ألاحظ حولي انتقادات الناس .. وآراءهم .. وأحاديثهم ..
فوجدت أن الناس في كلامهم وذمهم لنا يتنوعون ..
فيهم الناصح الصادق الذي لا يتقن فن النصيحة.. وبالتالي يحزنك بأسلوب نصحه أكثر مما يفرحك ..
وفيهم الحاسد .. الذي يقصد حزنك وهمك ..
وفيهم قليل الخبرة .. الذي يهذي بما لا يدري .. ولو سكت لكان خيراً له ..
وفيهم من طبيعته الانتقاد أصلاً .. فهو ينظر للحياة بنظارة سوداء ..

My camera couldn't get the massive swarming flock of about 500 into a single frame, and when i tried , they appeared too tiny to make the shot worth much...so i zoomed in. The sky was alive with their honking.. It was exciting ! They settled on a spot further up river.

Joos or Joas as he called himself, or José Lambrecht or Lambert in French. was a printer and typecutter in Ghent during the first half of the 16th century. In his "Disticha Moralia", Lambrecht printed a Latin, a Greek, a "Dutch" and a French version, each language in its respective typography, Lambrecht was also a schoolteacher in French, the first "Dutch" grammatician.
