A vibrant protest installation in Copenhagen's Freetown Christiania calls for the legalization of cannabis. The scene features a skeleton mannequin holding a sign that reads "Still Waiting for Legalization" alongside a striking blue-red sign in Danish demanding: “Hjælp Christiania legaliser cannabis” (“Help Christiania legalize cannabis”). The image captures the iconic rebellious spirit and humor deeply rooted in Christiania's countercultural identity.

I decided to make some more images of objects splashing in a fish tank. Instead of using fruit again, I decided it might be more fun to take some of my son's bath toys and add some colorful backgrounds. I liked this one the best.
If you decide to do something like this, it's a lot of fun. Just be sure to save the fruit until last or you'll be cloning out "floaties" all afternoon.
Clint has a nice tutorial (below) that helped me get started. Be sure to check it out. If you're not into kids toys or fruit cans of pop / beer look nice - red bell peppers or strawberries on black seemed to stand out the most. More splash images can be found here.

Special thanks to Clint Decker and his video showing the basics. I didn't follow it exactly, but it got me going. He's got an awesome flickr stream - check it out here: flickr

Washington DC, Upper Senate Park, Saturday September 5, 2015. While photographing a neo-Confederate rally and counter protest I came upon an intinerant linoleum block print artist selling his wares for donations. I purchased his interpretation of the stars and bars for two bucks. I should have also purchased his Monsanto print. Enjoy!

I decided to make some more images of objects splashing in a fish tank. Instead of using fruits and veggies this time, I decided it might be more fun to take some of my son's bath toys and add some colorful backgrounds. Everyone loves Elmo, right?

There are only 2 structures at Bottle Village that you can still walk through. The Rumpus Room and the Round House. This little gem of a card was spotted in the Rumpus Room, where Grandma Prisbrey's beautiful padded piano is located. I imagine that this card summed up some of Grandma's philosophy of life. Priceless!
There is a fantastic 28 minute documentary about Grandma Prisbrey here:
