My version of this thing, made using:

- $5 gutter adapter (Home Depot)

- $.50 bag of straws,

- x-acto knife

- a scrap of plywood to cut against

- some cyanoacrylate (super glue) to hold everything in there.

 

Fits Speedlight 580 EX II without modifying the gutter piece.

This DIY pooter is designed and made by my friend Victor Naveau based on a plastic film container and some plastic tubes. In the cover cap of the container 2 holes are punched through which the tubes are pressed.

The advantage of this model is that you simply can switch containers and as such reload your pooter with a new empty one.
