We came across this view when driving back from an early morning visit to Blea Tarn. We all jumped out the car to capture this view over the Great Langdales.
The first light of dawn crests the Wasatch Front as lights of Salt Lake City glimmer in the distance, as seen from the Great Salt Lake’s Stansbury Island.
Active late summer / autumn thunderstorm over the North Sea.
Shot with an old, but still good and sharp 135 mm prime lens (the 50mm and f/1.4 in the discription are not right, the lens is entirely manual and has no electronic connection to the camera body whatsoever.....).

Sometimes we caught a glimpse of a house off in the distance. This one has no road to it so once again we hiked overland to get close to it.
a little embarrassing putting this one up as it was so far away but i have a bit of rivary between a few mates with a bird count album for 2022 but we must have a photo and not just a tick for each species but it is my first of the year as i am finding them hard this year
