Instead of Tomorrowland, Disneyland Paris has the more timeless Discoveryland, which is heavily influenced by Jules Verne (among other explorers and visionaries). Someone in WDI must really like Verne, because not only does he have this land, but also Mysterious Island in Tokyo DisneySea (perhaps the greatest land in any Disney theme park) and he was previously a star of The Timekeeper, a fan-favorite attraction in Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, and Tokyo Disneyland.
I can't think of any individual external to the Disney company who has received this much attention in the parks. Mark Twain? Lincoln? I would say Verne's influence trumps them both.
There are hundreds more photos of Disneyland Paris in our Disneyland Paris Trip Report--check it out!

I haven't done a Fireworks Friday photo in quite a while, so here's a little bit of visual excitement from Disneyland Paris.

Now that I've been to every Disney Park except for Hong Kong Disneyland I can say that Paris Disneyland has by far the prettiest castle of them all. Overall, I thought this entire park was the prettiest of the Magic Kingdom type parks anywhere in the world, topped only by Tokyo Disney Sea. Since Disney Sea is entirely different, they can't be compared to each other.
I truly look forward to the next time I get to stand in awe of this gorgeous fantasy.
It breaks my heart to think of all the Disney parks around the globe sitting empty during the current shutdown.
I would gladly pay double full price to be able to spend the day walking around an empty park taking pictures.
Illuminations in Disneyland Paris is a wonderful show to behold.
Truth be told, it is virtually identical to the show at Shanghai Disneyland except where Paris has a Beauty & the Beast segment, Shanghai has a Mulan segment.
Both are great and worth the time.
Although it's called Westernland in Disneyland Paris, it looks and feels like Frontierland in the American parks, only better. They sure did it right in Paris.
When it comes to Disneyland Paris, you can never have too many photos or too many angles of their beautiful castle.
At least that's what I must have been thinking because I literally took hundreds of photos of it.
