On my morning walk, I saw some Ojo de Dios hanging in a tree. They were a bit weathered!
Ojo de Dios, are spiritual and votive objects made by weaving a design out of yarn upon a wooden cross.
Back in the 1970s, when I was 13, we made one in a craft class, the teacher was an American on an exchange program.

El título viene por la bella historia de que esta obra maestra se salvó de la quema gracias a que la (avispada) Iglesia convirtiera la mezquita... en catedral. Nunca mejor dicho: ¡alabado sea Dios!
