Mi Propio Dios meaning "My own God" This piece reflects todays society and culture in my point of view. The inspiration of this piece was the Aztec calendar and Graffiti. I believe religion is lost in a sense and that our lives revolve around ourselves and we are the important figure in our life appose to the ancient aztec times whos lives were heavily influenced and revolved around their many Gods. We live in a self centered society that's why i used my own face for this piece. I kept this piece simple because i wanted to emphasize the materials used like graffiti you use what you have what is available to that's why I used cardboard and I used paper maché so that others can put themselves in it as their own Gods Like graffiti this piece is very textured.

"e un dio che è morto,
nei campi di sterminio dio è morto,
coi miti della razza dio è morto
con gli odi di partito dio è morto... "
