I still can't believe it took me this long to see Sade live. It was well worth the wait. She was amazing! The voice, the music, the look...Perfection.

The Andromeda Galaxy is a spiral galaxy approximately 2,500,000 light-years away in the constellation Andromeda. It is also known as Messier 31, or NGC 224 and is often referred to as the Great Andromeda Nebula. Andromeda is the nearest spiral galaxy to our own, the Milky Way.

From my backyard on a moonless night, the central core is visible to the naked eye as a smudge.

turning into a real labour of love, managed to get 44 hour 4 pane mosaic of this huge feint nebula so far. Don't think ill get the hole nebula done this winter but will carry on after summer. Details are; NEQ6 mount with WO FLT 98 APO scope with SXV H694 mono cooled CCD wit hST 80 guide scope and Loadstar guide cam. As mentioned, 44 hours exposure total comprising of 22 x 1200 sec subs H alpha ( per pane) and 14 x 300 sec subs in R,G and B (per pane).
