This unusual bit of barbed-wire fencing stands along the southern end of Arrowhead Lake Road as it leads up to the Notch between Hesperia and Summit Valley (the Notch appears in the photo's upper right where the road disappears from view). The fence posts are made of mold-poured concrete; they are posted upright with the barbed wire strung through the diamond cut-outs—you can see the shadows of the barbed wire strands cast by the bright morning sun running along the base of the fence. The idea is clever, avoiding the eventual decay and rot of wooden fence posts, while providing a picturesque bit of fencing in the process.
Camera: Kodak Bantam f/4.5 Anastigmat Special (1938-1948). Kodak discontinued production of the Bantam's native 828 film (35mm roll film with 8 images, each 28 x 40mm) in 1985. I substituted conventional, sprocketed 35mm film, using backing paper cut down from 120 film backing paper according to an online tutorial by Dan Mitchell (www.pheugo.com/cameras/index.php?page=spool828). I didn't include the sprocket holes in my scan; the scanned negative area was thus approximately 24 x 40mm).

Our next stop was the Jökulsárlón Iceberg Lagoon or Glacier Lagoon, where we witnessed our first aurora sighting but it was very weak and the next morning we went to Diamond Beach to see all the Brocken Icebergs that washout to the ocean and the waves push them back on the beach. It was very tricky to shoot them when you are not equipped to deal with the constant waves. Here are a few I managed to catch. Cherry on top, toward the end our group ran into Mads Peter Iverson and had a great time chitchatting.

Diamonds are very expensive and not the best of friends. Sort of a Marilyn Monroe dress from Gentlemen prefer blondes. well its a similar colour If only i looked liked her back then.
I have been watching a lot of the old films from the 30s 40s 50s that i grew up watching on the TV and have decided they are to blame for my being trans.
Its all those lovely dresses, Each weekend i would get bombarded by stunning women wearing beautiful out of this world never in a million years could i wear them dresses.
So I am going to take legal action on Hollywood for giving me false hope and subliminally brainwashing me to be feminine.
Or i could just carry on watching the films and being brainwashed even more.
