“Flowers don’t worry about how they’re going to bloom. They just open up and turn toward the light and that makes them beautiful.”

We only have azaleas in bloom for a very short time here in East Texas. Springtime here is lovely to see but the pollen is killer.

A recycled frame.....
In the modern "way" we are encouraged to recycle, as much and as often as we can.
I quite like recycling frames, i shoot a frame, to keep, post, sometimes Bin, but why bin, when you can recycle, i view and review images, rotate, flip, and often rework them, on a whim of an idea... i fear a waste of my time, after all no one knows how long they have left.....

I see a person, hunched against the weather, ambling toward a fiery portal, high on a rickety bridge over a city scape, or maybe it's just me... it covers a few of our phobias.
Yet then again, it could be a person returning home,to a welcoming fire, a place to dry and warm and relax after a day at work.....
I did this before, but had my tripod this time. So i was able to get a better image.
Taken with the Zeiss Loxia 35mm.
Happy monday folks!
This is the first image of my new mini-series I took at the Ingering lake on saturday morning. Nothing better than watching the first beams of sunlight kissing nature awake.
If you like what you see, please check back soon for part 2 of the series. Thanks a lot - so long!
Lots of delicious decay and some great light/shadow. I liked this view too because of the great depth we were able to get. This was at the abandoned Fisher Plant. We didn't even have to go inside to get this shot! Sad to say it is even way more decayed than the last time we were there.
