At a roadside pullout around the The Inn at Death Valley with a view looking to the southwest to a sea level elevation sign in Death Valley National Park. My thought on composing this image was to pull back on the focal length to include more of the surrounding landscape while also including the mountain backdrop with the Panamint Range.
Montserrat is a multi-peaked rocky range located near the city of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. It is part of the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range.
Bringing supplies to the kiddos and we crashed. I hope we can fight our way out of this one to make sure the kids can eat :D
The photo of this bird, and several others from my Lapland trip, were taken through the window at a charming tustic hotel and cafe in Kaamanen, where we stayed for the final night before heading back to Ivalo Airport.

I love death valley. It is amazing ..especially if you are a photographer. This was taken at the badwater basin..and the white stuff u see here is salt. This basin is officially the lowest point in North America at 282ft below sea level.
Also used Lightroom for the RAW conversion for the first time...love that s/w....sweet.
